Not overly sweet that’s why i like it

I'm giving it 5 stars because my teenage son has been using it for 6 months, which is a record considering we went through several different protein powders before this one. Of course, he adds bananas, peanut butter, vanilla yogurt, and probably other stuff, but he still starts with the powder. I don't think he adds stuff to make it taste better, but rather to "bulk up" as the kids say. At the rate he's going, he may be using it for the next several years.

Gourmet Chocolate: Blends ok. I have better results if I shake it and then let it sit in the fridge or on counter for a while. That also improves the flavor because otherwise it has a strange after taste that actually gives me a headache/makes me a bit nauseated. No idea why that is.The protein response is definitely legit, though, so I just push through (and try to make it a habit to shake in advance!).The chocolate bag I have is has one of those hook and loop style closurea which is a bit strange and some product is stuck between the hooks and loops but does allow me to seal the bag.French Vanilla: Blends well. Flavor is pretty minimal. For money, as long as I feel like I'm actually ingesting protein, I'll say it's a win - I will update if it seems the vanilla is not as effective as the chocolate. UPDATE: definitely a solid recovery product so I will keep rolling with it. However, it is VERY FROTHY when you shake it so I add a bit of high quality lemon or orange flavored fish oil (since I need the omegas anyway) and that fixes both the froth issues and the lack of flavor issue.The "zipper" part of the French Vanilla bag is a traditional plastic bag seal and it separated (or was already separated) when I first opened the bag. Living in FL humidity, this is less than ideal. I will likely transfer it to a container once my son finishes his current protein powder that is a different brand.

I bought this product because I am dealing with major after workout fatigue. To a point that it will last a day or two. Last week it was three days. I bought this to drink after my workout to help with that issue. I don’t have a blender, so I just mixed this with a spoon and then I hand whisked for 20 seconds. First, everything devolved….no lumps, NO GRIT….amazing. First power I have ever bought with no gritty taste. I mixed it with milk for a bit more calories. Taste….well I bought the vanilla and I love it. Not sweet at all. I don’t like sweet drinks and this tastes like a mildly sweet milk. Love it. I will update in a few weeks and let you if this is helping with the post workout fatigue. So far, I’m impressed.Second day….today day I did cardio….pretty intense workout. Afterwards, I was beat. I cut up a small banana, a few strawberries, mixed the powder with milk and poured it over the bananas and strawberries. Delicious and gave me tons of energy. Over all about a 300-400 cal after workout meal with about 30 protein, carbs n some fat from the milk for recovery. I’m loving it.

I love this protein powder. It tastes great and mixes really well. Great for digestion. The only complaint I have is that it got too expensive. It used to be around $30, but now it went up to $41. Please bring it down and I will continue to buy it

Ordered Strawberry Whey protein and they changed the recipe. It has less strawberry flavor and over all does not taste good. I like the addition of probiotics and other healthy stuff but if it tastes bad there is no point

I love that it doesn’t have artificial sweetener (migraines!) and tastes like nothing, I drink it with water. Simple and easy. If you want flavored stuff, look elsewhere.

The quality of the powder itself is excellent. It was the best nutritional composition of protein powders available on Amazon in this price range. My diet isn't the best and I wanted to supplement it with additional protein, fiber, and nutritional supplements. The prebiotics included was a nice bonus. I had tried this company's Designer Lite Cookies & Cream powder and liked it. However, I wanted more protein and I was craving Strawberry. The quality is there. The Whey line is noticeably smoother and slightly thicker in texture and blends more readily and completely. The extra protein provides me with a more satiated feeling. It's definitely 5 stars. The strawberry flavor, however, definitely leaves something to be desired. 2.5 stars. I will be buying again, just in a different flavor. The strawberry flavor is drinkable but not that enjoyable. I prefer the Whey line over the Lite line which is thinner in consistency , doesn't blend as smoothly, has less protein, and doesn't have prebiotics in it. As others have said, the "resealable zip lock bag " is utterly useless. It doesn't work at all. I had to transfer the powder to an empty Lock & Lock storage container I had on-hand. If the company can't do better than that, it needs to stick with screw-on lid canisters exclusively.
