I'm getting this product for the second time for continued usage. I've been using this for a few months and seeing good steady results for my Rosacea issues. There are fewer redness and bumps. After using this for a while, I'm getting used to and like the lemongrass-like fragrance smell. It is actually quite a refreshing smell and feel. When using the product, simply put one hand over the eyes and spray with the bottle to the rest of the facial areas and rub it in. It's quite easy but do be careful to prevent the spray from getting into the eyes as it can cause a slight burn feeling. It would be a plus if this product came in cream form instead to reduce the risk of getting into the eyes from the spraying process. I'll continue to use this longer and hope the result will be even better.

At the time of this review, I've already used this skin product for several months with my former purchase of the exactly same product also on Amazon. This product is listed as for the following symptoms: Acne, Rosacea, Itching, Ageing skin, hair loss, hair thinning, etc. Actually this Australian spray has 2 functions: getting rid of Demodex Mites (parasites that live under human skin) and has some ingredients to help our skin recover. Most if not all people have some Demodex mites live under different parts of our skin which have been co-existing with us without causing any problems. Only when they under the right conditions, grow to an excess amount that it will become some sort of skin irritations and problems that cause the symptoms listed above. From my reasoning and experience, since it can kill parasites on the surface and even under the skin, most skin irritation, itches have some sort of germs that will not like the ingredients in this spray either and the other ingredients is to protect and to help our skin recover, plus this spray's ingredients are certified by the Australian officials to be safe for all skin types. For the past several months, due to my old skin (mature skin is the politically correct term), from time to time, scratches, irritations, dryness or for no specific reasons, can cause redness, itches and swelling that normal lotions, creams and medication don't seem to help. I spray the affected area with this spray and within one or two applications, the symptoms are gone. This spray is very easy to apply, just spray the affected skin area and I also spread it with my palm. I've used it all over my body: arms, legs, back, front, face (not to get into the eyes), hair. For me, it's really safe. If the skin is itching or irritating, it will have a warm/hot feeling when applied but will go away within minutes and the hot feeling is just comfort and good feeling, not hurt. To me, this is an amazing product that I can spray on to help my skin heal whatever the cause. I have different skin problems almost weekly and I cannot afford to go to the Doctor every time I have some minor problem and this spray has given me relief and helps me heal almost every time. Of course, if you have some serious skin conditions, it's best to visit a Doctor to let him/her find out/determine what it is and prescribes medication. But this spray is going to be in my medicine cabinet for the long term as an insurance for my skin. This spray might seem expensive, but you only have to spray a couple sprays and a couple times to take care of your skin problem, much cheaper than to visit the Dermatologist even one time, so one bottle can last for at least a whole year. Since this stuff is non-toxic and safe to use on ALL skin types, if you have some skin conditions that you cannot get rid of with normal cream, lotion and medication, why not give it a try. I really trust and depend on this skin spray to take care of me. Highly, Highly recommend.

PROCUTiN is recommended to be used “every night for 4-6 months.” Recommendations also include avoiding other topical products, as well as soaps and cleansers unless necessary, and replacing “lotions and moisturizers with coconut oil if your skin is dry.” They also include “Lifestyle Modifications to Optimise PROCUTiN’s Benefits” such as “Challenge yourself by… ditch the sedentary lifestyle,” and “Indulge yourself by… Laugh often and adopt a positive outlook.” Ingredients include water, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Geraniol, Coconut Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, and several other ingredients I’ll likely misspell if I type. It is also QUITE expensive for two 6.8 fl oz bottles of PROCUTiN. At this time, PROCUTiN costs $279, but a coupon will bring it down to $167. To be fair, a little spritz goes a long way, but I still hesitate to spend that much money on something that may or may not be effective and whose brochure honestly leaves me skeptical. After showering, where I rinsed and rubbed my face with water but did not use a separate facial soap, I applied PROCUTiN according to the directions. I thought that it smelled pleasant and could really smell the tea tree oil! However, soon after spritzing it (no clogs, spritzer was durable and worked well), my skin began to tingle and burn. I experienced some discomfort. Directions are given for using PROCUTiN normally as well as dilution recommendations for sensitive skin. However, how do you know if the tingling and burning discomfort is due to skin sensitivity or due to “distressing symptoms such as itching, redness and inflammation… as mite populations decrease”? Should I continue or discontinue using this product? I did try it for a week and still experienced discomfort, even with the recommended dilution. I did not notice this product to have any color. While PROCUTiN includes a cap with a sticker that recommends using the cap for dilution measurements, the cap does not have any markings or anything that would help with dilution. I’m not sure how one would mix it properly without using a separate measuring tool. For the cost of this product, I would have liked to see some scientific research or data to confirm efficacy, especially as it recommends avoiding cleansers and other topical products for 4-6 months of use. I did not feel that the cost of this product was worth a subjective “maybe it works,” especially given the discomfort I experienced after using this product and the confusion of “is it sensitive skin or die-off?” I wish I could recommend this product, but I don’t think I can. Please talk to your provider to see if PROCUTiN is a good product for you.

I have not been able to use this product very much because I think I got it for the wrong reasons. In other words, it does not work for the problem I purchased this for. I got this after reading the details about it online and thought it was the perfect solution for my scalp. However, I showed it to my Dermatologist and was told that this is NOT what should be using for my situation. I don’t want to put all my personal business ‘out there’ but the non-detailed problem is that a section of my scalp has some concerns. Since this product was not for me, I do not use it. My Derm does agree that this is a great product, so for those that need this Procutin spray I am sure you’ll appreciate it. I will still give this 5 stars because it is a Derm-approved product (approved by MY Derm). I have no real experience with it, so my Dermatologist’s opinion is all that I have.

I’ve been using this product for several weeks and while I haven’t seen a huge change in my face, I also haven’t seen any negatives. This appears to very much be a longer-term product to see the potential benefits. The instructions indicate a changing dilution of the product over time to eventually get to the full strength. I’m still in the diluted state working up to full strength. The scent kind of smells like lemon grass and tea tree oil. It goes on wet and dries leaving your skin slightly tacky/sticky, but only very subtly. I enjoy the way it leaves my skin feeling and find the scent pleasant enough. I feel this product will be more or less effective depending on the individual, their skin type and how regimented they are sticking with using it. Overall, I’m still not sure about this product, but hopeful! While this is a pretty expensive product one bottle is going to last me a very long time, even when at full strength. I’ve been using it at basically half strength for two weeks the bottle doesn’t appear to have gone down at all!
