Fine for using to get a cookie tray or muffin tray out of the oven. Not good for what I need, which is to take a Staub cast iron pot out of the oven. This mitten style does not work for holding onto the handles.

These are great oven mitts. They work well with the cast iron skillet which is the biggest test of all. Very good heat resistance.

These work pretty well. They’re still a bit stiff and new but I think they will get better with age. If that happens they will merit 5 stars from me.
