RJ45 Panel Mount Shielded Connector

Worked great to run an Ethernet cable under my crawl space and up into another room. I just mounted this into the floor in the corner of the room

Love these for networking RF racks. Ethercon jacks are difficult to work with when using standard RJ45 cables. These jacks solve that problem.

These RJ45 pass-throughs are perfect for a situation where you don't want to use a standard RJ45 wall plate. In my case, giving a clean look to an ethernet punched through a pine tongue and groove wall. The mounting plate is some sort of metal which was a concern when purchased - had it been plastic, I knew I'd have to be much more gentle with the mounting screws. All in all a great product.

Works perfectly. Only problem is the weather plug is a poor design and won't stay plugged. Pops out on its own and ya never know when.

Good build. Fits well. Gasket seals well. Very hardy and well made connectors.

These aren't shielded couplers and therefore don't transfer the shielding from wire to wire. I was attempting to use them to pass an audio over ethernet signal but these didn't do it properly. I am giving one star because they carry a signal otherwise, but they just aren't what they are advertised to be.

This worked very well for me. The only issue I had was the floor pockets I have are limited in size so having a RJ45 connector plugging into it was not possible. I needed to do some cutting, not ideal. But the product worked great!
