Would buy again, works well with older sears lathe (MT1)
Seem to be of decent quality so far, have use them twice, worked well with my old MT1 connectors on my lathe

This got my 50 year old Craftsman lathe working again
I was recently gifted a 50 year old Craftsman Lathe. After I set it up and tried to used it, I discovered the live center was worn out and would not hold the work piece. After doing some research I determined my lathe used the MT1 standard. This was very common in 1950s , 60s, and 70s, but not today.The two live centers in this set have allowed me to get this lathe working again. I be honest though, I am new to wood turning and I don't know what the other two pieces are used for yet.

There are four centers in the set. Note that only one of them is a live center. The other three are solid, or "dead" centers.

Fits my old Craftsman desktop lathe
I bought these to work in my Craftsman lathe because it was missing some items. So I rolled the dice and bought this because it was a MT1 style. It fits great at both the headstock and tailstock. I'v used several pieces for several projects that works great.
