Size:youth large / 11-13 For pleasant walks with your dog without undesirable pulling the NON-PULL Harness black nylon is ideal. It is designed to stop the dog gently. The Harness consists of an elastic material, which for the dog is a great deal of freedom of movement. The shoulder straps are adjustable.

I have control without using a prong collar
I used a prong collar for many years and a neighbor told me about this collar. I feel much better about using it versus the prong collar.

Didn't work for my dog
Nice product but it did not work to stop my doggo from pulling.

I don't trust the stitching
Disappointed, stitching isn't strong. I wouldn't recommend for a strong puller. My dog is equivalent to a boxer.

Doesn’t work as described still pulling on walks
This does not prevent pulling.

NON PULL HARNESS.
I have 2 rescue dogs who have had no training and pull constantly on the lead. Within seconds of going out wearing these harnesses they stopped pulling. They are amazing. Also they are very easy to put on and take off even if the dog is excited at the prospect of going out. I wish I'd found the harness months ago.

Works with our 38kg of solid dog muscle! Must buy..!
Purchased a large for our notorious Puller Winston who is a Staffy cross and a very big, strong boy!Was a little dubious as to whether it would work for him-or even be strong enough to use with him! But getting very sick of being dragged everywhere! He doesn’t mind wearing it and it seems comfortable on. It’s not hard to get on him at all. It’s been a total game changer! Yes you can still feel him on the lead-he’s a very strong dog but the pulling has been reduced by an easy 80% I would say!! Walking him is so much more enjoyable! I handed our 7 year old the lead and he was able to walk him easily! It’s a fantastic product at such a great price!!

Great harness for my Staffy-Highly recommended.
Picked one of these up from a car boot to test on my Staffy. It was well worn but lasted over a year. I then bought this new one based on that. Its a great harness. Great for controlling your dog. It fits comfortably with the padded straps & mesh area underneath. Adjustable neck straps which are thick & strong. At the back of the neck is a pull cord so you can tighten & loosen it easily with a ring to attach to the lead. Its great on its own if you have to answer the door & want to hold your dog back or whatever. Its a fantastic harness for the dog & me. Highly recommended.

Tamed our spaniel
3 month cocker spaniel which pulled on the lead to the extent that it was nearly choking itself. Walks no fun for dog or owner. He’s been out for 3 days now with the harness and a complete transformation. Pulling minimal (and with less force), happily walks by my side. Will definitely get a larger version when he grows out of the small one (although plenty of growing room in the small version). Took one star off because it’s a bit of a faff getting the harness over an excited pup’s head and getting the correct loops over his legs, but worth it for the results.

Best thing on the market for stopping your dog from pulling!
I had a Border Collie for nearly 11 years and had him since he was about 6 weeks old. On our walks, I was used to him pulling me and regardless what I tried, he always did it.Sadly, he died last June through complications but I got my latest collie 3 weeks later. He was a wee bit older when we got him and has not long turned a year old.He was the same, pulling as if he was possessed like her in the exorcist with the head spinning if I tried to tell him to stop it.Someone told me about what I got today and I thought it was all rubbish and wouldn't work.It is a non- pull harness and fits under his legs and over back of his neck and is all padded. Took me a few mins of working where it all went, but off we went anyway. As soon as we reached the gate he looked at me as if to say, what is this on me and started his usual 3 min mile run with me hanging on!Wrong! Within about 20 seconds, he was walking like a different dog! No pulling, no nothing, behaving as if he was at crufts!I tried him first with a 6 foot lead I have and then the 5 metres extendable one. Never pulled on either, in fact, I was the one that was usually in front and not him!It was a joy to walk him for miles and makes a difference from get my shoulder sorted every month by the local doctor!..only kidding 😀Best money I have ever spent. So all you dog lovers out there that are going through the same as I was, get one of these and you can actually hold onto the lead handle with just one finger instead of two hands! 😀

It works - stops my sled dog from pulling me up the road
This is now my third non-pull harness from Sporn - not because they break or anything but because my “medium sized” dog won’t stop growing. We had a medium sized one when he was a pup, when that got too small we upgraded to a large and now that’s also too tight so I’ve had to get the biggest size possible. He’s a German shepherd husky cross and is bigger than either breed is usually, so I bought the biggest size as I can always make it smaller by using the straps - no need, it fits fine, assuming he doesn’t get any bigger. So - apart from the dog growth issue - how does the harness hold up? Well being husky all he wants to do is yank my arms off whenever he goes out. He’s better off the lead than on it - as soon as you connect something to him he’s straining against it because he wants to lead all the time. Not on my watch - I hate having a dog that isn’t under control and constantly resisting a lead. We’ve tried the head collars and all he does is scratch at his face with his claws and keep rubbing his head against my legs, knocking me over, so that’s also not a solution. At least with the harness he doesn’t do that and this actually seems to work. If he starts pulling a simple tug against it stops him and he falls back into line again. This makes walking him easy and pleasurable again unlike a regular collar where he just charges off and I can’t even manage to lock the car before he’s dragged me up the road.I can’t be without something like this as he is a large dog and needs control otherwise he risks injuring me or both of us - this solves the issue and he doesn’t mind wearing it.Easy to get on as it has plenty of length to let it out to get his legs through and just slip the adjustable button down the length so it reduces the slack again and we’re good to go. I can even hold onto that instead of putting a lead on the end as there’s plenty of length enough to have him at a heel (due to his height, his shoulders are up by my hands so I have a good foot of harness length) or I can attach a lead and let him have a bit of freedom, depending on where we are.The harness is sturdy and I would guess at washable as it looks like it would survive a round in the washing machine if necessary. If you have a unruly dog then I would suggest you invest in one of these as it can make life so much easier. The price is good too as I was looking at other harnesses and some were 3 times the price yet I can’t see how they would stop his pulling as they sit around his chest, not under his armpits like this design. The idea behind this is pulling makes it uncomfortable (but not painful) so he doesn’t do it, whereas these other designs look like you are about to hitch the dog up to a sled which would encourage a husky to pull more in my opinion.Happy with this purchase - would recommend.

Best harness I have found for a lively dog
I have a Staffy who is coming up for four years old and weighs around 18kg. He is very spirited and strong and previously I had been happy with the Bunty style harnesses made of stretch fabric that go on like a little vest. However, I discovered that due to the design, if he pulled, then the harness was rubbing under his arms.I then saw this harness, which is the only harness I have found that has padded straps so they don't irritate where they come into contact with the dogs skin. This harness has been great, my dog previously had been sore and bleeding under his arms from the previous harness but with this his skin has healed up completely. He also doesn't fight this harness when it's pulled tight to stop or direct him. He is like a little rocket so this harness has had a good stress test! Very easy to put on and sturdily made, I think this is an excellent piece of equipment, a great price for something so well made, effective as well as being kind to your dog. Highly recommended.

WARNING...i cannot rate this item as it came apart while I was checking it. I had to give a star as it wouldn’t let me post this review without one. If I hadn’t and just put it on it could have been disastrous, the first pull and my dog would have been in a road. Don’t buy cheap stuff. With this product you get much less than you pay for.

Not an "instant solution."
Simply did not work for us.Firstly, if you are on the cusp of two sizes, go for the larger one otherwise you run the risk of it not fitting over your dogs head.As a harness, it performed fine. It was well tolerated and felt secure. They claim it "stops pulling instantly." Nope. For us it was no different to our other harness, the Julius K9. The dog would pull to the limit the stopper was set at and continue on. There was not even an improvement. Now we fully understand that these are training aids and are not a substitute for putting the work in, but, we wanted something in the interim for our sanity as you don't want to spend the entirety of your walks training. The only thing that has worked for us are head halters be it Halti/Gentle Leader or a simple slip lead in a figure 8. The issues with these is that they indent the fur on your dogs muzzle and in the case of the front attaching ones, scrape along the ground if you have a low dog whose snoot is always hovering above the floor.Think we will persevere with a collar, regular slip or martingale but this harness will not be the "instant solution" it claims to be for some dogs.

Miracle worker
We have a five year old Golden Retriever who has mostly been exercised off his lead from being a puppy and consequently when he has to be put on a lead he sometimes pulls hard especially if heading to his favourite beach! Our other two Goldens don't pull at all on the lead. I decided to give a harness a try and not expecting it to be very successful was looking for a reasonably priced version.Chose this harness and am over the moon with the outcome. It is very easy to put on, it is very soft around his legs and the first time I took him out wearing it he didn'y even attempt to pull, just walked calmly by my side. I totally recommend it and even if it doesn't last long I will just buy another as it is very good value. No more aching arms when having to walk him on a lead - fantastic. I can now walk all three together with ease as middle dog no longer pulls.

This harness stops your dog from pulling :)
I have a female-year-old Jack Russell who when she spotted another dog would stand up on her hind legs while only being supported by her collar. She would also pull like a steam train when walked anywhere on a lead. Her behaviour wasn't doing her neck any favours so I decided to look for a no pull harness.I read the reviews on the harness and decided to buy one. I purchased a harness in size small as she is quite a small Jack Russell. Well, I am amazed and very pleased with the results, she no longer pulls, or stands up on her hind legs when she sees another dog. She even appears calmer and generally looks happier and more relaxed.I couldn't recommend this harness enough if you own a dog that pulls. It's very kind, well padded and easy to put on and take off again. Brilliant!

Fantastic training tool!
While there is no harness that will transform a dog's behaviour without consistent training, I have to say I a very impressed with how this harness hd helped us. Our six month old puppy is very excitable when out so he was very difficult to control on a normal collar as I struggled to gain his attention. He is simply unable to pull with this harness, so has to follow my instructions more closely. He would not heel much at all before and now walks beautifully on a short lead, and when given more lead to run around the pulling has stopped almost entirely. Still lists of training to do but this is a fantastic tool. Light enough to wash and dry easily bity sturdy enough to be safe. Great price and easy to put on the dog. Very pleased!

Iv not give it all full stars because if the security and sturdiness of the itemAs regards to sturdinessCould do with being thicker on the straps that go under the dogs front legsAs regards to securityIt could do with another dog lead clip just in case it snapsThey do make them like thatWe have a 1.5yr old borodor puppyShes strong for her age and no matter how we try to train her...
