ROTATOR GR7100 Swivel Socket Power Adaptor, 2-Pack

These outlet adapters are perfect for plugging in things with large converter boxes (cell phone chargers, printers, etc.) Since you can swivel the plug any direction you can use both plugs in your wall outlet when you have such large items to plug in. I was looking for something that would convert sideways plugs into vertical so I could use the "Wallflowers" air fresheners in my house. I didn't even know these existed before I searched Amazon and it turns out these were exactly what I needed!Each adapter comes with its own little plastic piece that plugs in so you can swivel the actual plug. (Don't throw those away!) Out of the box, one moved very easily and the other required a bit of muscle. In the end, they both turned and worked great! They are sturdily built and plug into the wall with all 3 prongs so you can be sure that they're safe.

Excellent product and just what I was looking for. For some reason all of the outlets in my home were put in horizontally which makes it impossible to plug in things such as oil lamps. This product kept me from calling an electrician and still allows me to use my oil lamps.

Not what I expected. Cannot use these. I expected that I could use these in the sockets in an extension strip cord to "rotate" the orientation of the plug; but these are designed to be used in a wall outlet - which rotates the plug in a different manner than I required. That should be explicitly stated in the advertisements.

My sockets arrived yellowed which happens to plastics when they age or when exposed to repeatedly high heat. I inspected the package and noticed that they have a manufactured date of 05/07...so they are over seven years old. They were clearly being stored for a long time in some warehouse. I decided to return them because of this and because I was able to find a better socket. I ordered these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Z7EDCC and have been very happy. The ROTATOR ones stick out 1.5" from the wall when plugged in and the 360 Electrical one is just 1".

Item performs as described, but thanks to a clever picture for the ad it does not show how bulky the pieces truly are. My biggest complaint is that they stick out from the wall 1"-2" and are not attractive. There aren't a lot of options for this type of product and this does a good job at what it is intended to do.

works perfectly for what I needed. This product keeps me from playing around with the electric sockets to change the orientation. Somehow when the some of the sockets were originally installed, they were put in upside down. This product takes care of that.

They are a bit big but they did the task and allowed me to fit a power adapter into a covered power socket in my barn.

Two of the outlets on my kitchen counter are in horizontal position. I was not able to plug in Standley 38425 Timer in the outlet. So I searched at Amazon.com and was glad to find this adapter. It works well as advertised.
