Excellent ceramic replacement for MK7 vw's
Excellent ceramic pad option for MK7 Golf R's and performance-pack GTI's. I tried the Brembo ceramic pads on my Golf R but they rattled like crazy over bumps. They also had an annoying click noises when I would transition from forward to reverse. This is a common problem with aftermarket pads on these cars. The backing plate is manufactured to be too small and the design of the retention clips is different so the pad moves around in the carrier.TRW is the OEM VW pad maker, so it does not come as a surprise that these fit just like the OEM pad. Same backing plate and clip design. Excellent ceramic replacement for the dusty stock pads.

Not good
What is super frustrating? Jack up your car, put it on stands, and take the wheels off in order to replace the front brake pads. You then remove the old pads and go to install one of these TRW pads. As you're inserting the pad gently for a test fit, one of the clips pops right off. Frustration level at 11. It's a Sunday before a holiday so you try to get creative and reattach the clip. But all you end up doing is slicing your finger open. You know without the clip, the pad will fit too loosely. So you put the old pads back in and sigh at the wasted time this poorly manufactured brake pad caused. Add insult to injury because you miss the return window by 2 days.

Better than the OEM for 8V S3 and mk7 R
I got them for my 2017 Audi S3, to replace the originals, they fit perfectly, work like a charm, no noises at all an most importantly 80-90% less brake dust than the OEM, would by them over and over again.
