It contains about 86% witch hazel, giving it a very natural astringent effect. I apply it after cleansing in the morning and evening. It helps balance excess oil without over-drying, thanks to the tannins in witch hazel that help refine pores. It’s also quite soothing — I’ve used it on minor irritations like bug bites and redness, using its anti-inflammatory properties. The unscented formula is a huge plus: no strong fragrance, which is perfect for sensitive skin or anyone who prefers a neutral toner. I understand it has some alcohol (around 14%, per safety data), which likely contributes to its astringency, but I haven’t found it irritating. One downside: the packaging is very basic, and the large bottle can be a bit cumbersome to handle. If not stored securely, there’s a risk of spills. Overall, I think it’s a fantastic value pick for anyone wanting a basic, effective, and affordable toner — especially if you have oily or acne-prone skin. Just make sure to follow up with a moisturizer (or a light serum) so your skin doesn’t feel too tight.

I have repurchased this countless times and it works great. I use mine as a facial toner as well as for first aid purposes. I recently tried swiping this on my armpits and under boob area after showering and it helps to reduce sweat smell. So great and gentle, with multiple uses. 🙂

No complaints about this witch hazel. It is formulated the same as the brand name versions, and works just as well. I like that it's plain witch hazel without any added ingredients (such as aloe). I find plain witch hazel works best for my needs. A good value for the price, especially if you can catch it on a price dip. 5 stars.

First off, the smell is so bad. It's not alcohol smell, it's rotten meat or some other insane smell. It's not expired or anything, that's just what witch hazel smells like. Be prepared for that. It isn't drying at all! It is very mild in its astringent properties. It is a clear liquid and was sealed. I am using it as an after shave and to clear my pores. Doesn't sting or anything. Works well I think, but smells dizguztin

I personally prefer the great value brand witch hazel buy this is a good and inexpensive alternative. The main difference is that I only need 1 swipe of a cotton ball with the great value brand, whereas with this brand 1 swipe won't cover my entire face.

Nice basic to have. Worked well for what I was using it for. Would purchase again! Did not come spilled or damaged. Was packaged very secure and good.
