Good for copper DWV to PVC connection
Works well for making the transition between old copper drain-waste-vent to PVC pipe. Be sure to torque the bolts correctly. Much cheaper to buy on Amazon than at the local plumbing supply, even with a trade discount. You probably won’t find this for sale at Lowe’s or Home Depot.

Excellent... If you know what you are looking for.
The other reviewer obviously did not realize what they were purchasing. This is NOT a direct-connect ABS to ABS 2" coupling. This is a coupling used for connecting ABS or cast iron pipe to a copper or aluminum pipe. While both are considered "2 inch", the copper and aluminum 2" pipe is thinner than the ABS or cast iron pipe, thus the need for the reducer. I use these all the time to connect roof drains to drain lines and they work perfectly.

not as advertised !!!
not 2 inch, this is like a 1.8 inch to 2 inch joint, I had to pay my plumber to drive out to Menards for correct one.
