These caulk saver caps are a clever little solution that actually works. They fit perfectly on my sealant tubes and stop the contents from drying out between uses. They’re easy to put on and take off, and the seal is tight enough to keep everything clean and ready for next time. The quality feels solid, and having four in the pack is handy for different tubes I have open. A simple, inexpensive tool that saves a lot of waste — definitely worth having in the toolbox.

They work surprisingly well. Pull them out of the tube and the silicon is ready to use - great! Only issue is that they are a little fragile. I have a few where the ‘head’ has broken off after 3 uses.

Simple but very effective . Completely blocs off the end however the size hole and saves not only the mastic but saves time and effort from unblocking dried out filling. Highly recommended.

It works well; however, if you drop the silicone or whatever you use it for, chances are the top bit will snap. I used all four within a few months due to accidental snappings.

Best way to preserve opened tubes of caulk. Makes reuse easy. Save caulk. Seems a bit pricey for a very simple, but effective small plastic part.

Works as advertised, better than sticking a nail into the tube. Keeps the entire tube open and the product in the tube usable instead of drying out and wasting an expensive tube of caulking when you just need to use a small amount.

Cut off a piece of the stem and used it to plug the hole I put in the back of the caulk. Saw it from a hack.

Saves you money in the short term. It preserves your compound to an extent but will clearly not be as good as an unopened tube.
