Dinty Moore Big Bowls Beef Stew, 15 Ounce ( Pack of 8 )

While these are different from the regular canned stew, they are great for keeping in a drawer at the office and tossing into the microwave for a quick snack or lunch. They are more "soupy" than the regular Dinty Moore, but that didn't bother me at all. They still taste great and are full of hearty chunks of vegetables and "hamburger-style" meat bites. Don't open it up expecting the exact same thing as you get from the cans and you won't be disappointed.

I have eaten this beef stew for years. when I got this though, it was rather watery and the beef chunks have been replaced by lumps of hamburger. Disappointed. Cancelled my subscribe and save subscription.

NOT ORIGINAL STEW ! WATERY SOUP ! All D.M. Recipes have been using much less actual meat...But,.this version has NO ACTUAL GRAVY either..TOO BAD,..we loved the "original style"..(even with less actual beef)..THOUGHT we had found "the best deal ever,..and bought six cases...NOPE.!!!..TRICKED US...it seems the recipes that are NOT in "easy open"containers use the original style stew gravy..BE CAREFUL,..other "original recipe" D.M. stew lovers...(WE gave two stars because they arrived quickly and were very thoughtfully packaged..)

I love Dinty Moore stew so I thought these would make a nice quick and easy lunch. The amount of stew is perfect but its not quite the same. The flavor and texture are sacrificed for convenience. Sad really. I won't be buying these again

I bought these to have on hand for those nights no one wants to cook. The flavor is rich and good. Vegetables good; meat ok. Broth too runny - more like soup than stew. But then it still beats cooking. I have reordered.

I have found them very satisfactory. I have them with a couple of dinner rolls to soak up the gravy and will reorder

The beef stew is delicious. And, the broth is not excessive in proportion to the solid ingredients.
