I've been using this refrigerator water filter for a few weeks now, and I'm very happy with its performance. Installation was quick and easy—no tools needed. I simply followed the instructions on the packaging, and it was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Since installing it, I’ve noticed a big difference in the taste of both the water and the ice. The water tastes much cleaner and fresher, with no strange odors. It's reassuring to know that it filters out chlorine and other possible contaminants. Another great thing is its lifespan. I read all of the reviews, positive and negative, and decided to take the plunge and try these despite what you read about only using Samsung brand filters. So far, 2 days in to the install of this filter I have yet to experience any leaking. Fit was perfect and the water taste great! Should anything change I will come back and update my review. Much cheaper than paying $50USD per Samsung brand filter. I might add though, if you're fridge is still under warranty, you probably wanna continue to purchase the Samsung brand filters or you run the risk of voiding the warranty

Our ice maker was freezing up due to needing a new filter. This did the trick. The filter light never came on. Easy to install. Water tastes much better. Helped water flow faster. Ice maker working now.

I specifically am reviewing to make sure everyone understands that these are indeed awesome filters and to correct errors in prior reviews. One of the reviewers gave it 2 stars because the picture showed 1 seal on top and the details in the ad says it’s rated for 400 gallons. Whist the pic in the ad shows one seal, the replacements do have 2 seals. My original Samsung in the attached photo also has 2 seals (not 1 as the other review suggested). So it’s exactly the same as the OEM filter. The label on the replacement says it’s rated for 300 gallons, not 400 as the ad says. However, the original Samsung is also rated for 300 gal (you can zoom in on the picture to see it). Again, exactly the same as the OEM filter, so no issues. I was slightly nervous ordering these as they didn’t show the bottom of the filter in the ad. The bottom of the replacent filter does indeed have the locking cap to grip onto (just like the original) so its super easy to install. As a side note, I had trouble determining the exact model number I needed for my 8 month old fridge. I googled it and couldn’t find my model listed anywhere. So I contacted Samsung (via chat) and asked for the part number. The guy said he’d patch me through to Samsung parts so that I could order a new one through them but didn’t tell me the part number. I told him to give me the model number and I’d decide where to buy them from. Crazy eh? These are an outstanding deal compared to the Samsung original model. I would not hesitate to purchase these again (even though the Samsung warranty says that they will not be responsible for damage caused by leakage if you didn’t use an OEM product (like I could get money from them in the first place if that happened!)

I've purchased these filters before and they are a perfect fit for our Samsung fridge. They are about 1/3 the price of similar filters available in retail stores. A great buy.

I ordered this filter in for my new fridge. I was upset that it didn't fit and thought I wasted my money. The seller contacted me asking how my purchase was, I mentioned it didn't fit. The seller gave some pointers and said if didn't work to just return. The pointers worked! SO VERY HAPPY! Yummy water, and good customer service a WIN WIN :)
