Worthy of its own color
Since this is a relatively new color, thought I'd upload my results to show what it should look like if everything works. I quite like this color, perhaps you could've gotten something similar if you used a diluted navy and some charcoal gray, but as the title suggest, it's worthy as it own stand-alone color. Perhaps think sky blue, but a few shades darker. As is the caveat with all dyes, it's all about the fabric and how you dye it. This was an off-white cotton-polyester blend and I agitated it in near boiling water for around an hour. Making sure the fabric is wet before submerging also helps with color evenness.

Great way to repurpose or
Works beautifully if you follow instructions. Pay special to your fabric and which due is appropriate.

Works well.on synthetics
Bought 1 bottle last week to try on synthetic fabrics. Worked well, planned to buy more during Prime week day, but they marked the price up by more than $3 per bottle and said it's 40% at the higher price. Can get from Hobby Lobby for half that

Uneven coverage
I dyed 5 items with this and all of them ended up with flecks of concentrated dye somewhere on them. The coloring is similar to a tie dye effect as well. Only 1 item was wearable after dying even though all instructions were followed and a fixative was added.

Can't use this particular dye in washing machine
I bought this particular product to dye a pair of curtains. However, the writing is so small on the bottle, you can't read it even with a magnifying glass. I had to Google the product, which was where I found out it couldn't be used in the washer with my curtain fabric because it has to maintain a very hot temp which can't be done in a washer. Waste of money.

It does dye cotton!
I had this beautiful white dress that I wore for my bachelorette party. It fit me perfectly but I dont really want to wear a white dress very often. Mostly because I know I’ll just get it dirty! So I decided to give dying a go! I followed the directions (used the entire bottle haha) and got this beautiful color! The darker crochet is cotton, which the bottle said it would not dye, but it definitely did as you can see haha

Works well but not color accurate
I purchased “stormy blue” to dye a romper that I purchased for photos which was white and not a color I would wear regularly. The bottle came well packaged and sealed. I followed the directions exactly and the color turned out nothing like the photo. I’m still pleased with the results (I used the “scrunch method” for the pattern) but it should be noted that the example photos for this color are not a mirage at all.

Trust the process
I was a little hesitant after reading a review that said it turned out purple but was pleasantly surprised that the color turned out perfect! What i will say- is follow the directions. Make sure your water and dye is at least 200 degrees and then soak until it is the shade of your liking (mine took less than 3 minutes). Overall the water heating process took the longest time. Does the water look purple? Yes. But it turns out blue in the end.
