Exceeded My Expectations
The Hakko T18-BR02 soldering tip has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and durability. It is a conical tip that provides precise and efficient heat transfer for precision soldering tasks. I am impressed by the tip's durability and sharpness, even after prolonged use. It is made of high-quality materials and crafted with excellent workmanship, ensuring a long lifespan. Furthermore, this soldering tip is compatible with a wide range of Hakko soldering irons, including the FX-888 and FX-8801, making it a versatile addition to any soldering setup. In summary, I highly recommend the Hakko T18-BR02 soldering tip to electronics enthusiasts and professionals seeking a reliable, durable, and versatile tool for their soldering needs. It offers precision and efficiency, making it an essential tool for any soldering project.

Useful shape for removing SMD electrolytic capacitors.
This is a surprisingly useful tip shape and of fine quality you’d expect from Hakko. One of the only means to remove large SMD electrolytic capacitors but note that requires two irons simultaneously.

A must have for SMD
This tip. This tip is the best tip I've ever used. It's a very multipurposed tip making it a great selection for lots of surface-mount work and some through-hole stuff. It's phenomenal for drag soldering and it doesn't fall short when dealing with large anchor pads because you can just angle it so the fatter, wider side of the tip is against the pad for better heat transfer. The smaller conical end of the tip can be used for individual soldering of pins as well, albeit not as finely as an actual microsoldering pencil. If you want to do any kind of SMD rework, this tip is a must. It will make your life a lot easier, and in my opinion it is better than the conical tips because you can angle this in many different ways for better heat transfer based on what you're trying to do. With conical tips that is much harder to do.

Genuine Hakko
I received a genuine Hakko solder tip in standard Hakko packaging. I still rock my 936 iron, and genuine solder tips last forever in a hobbiest use case if you take proper care of them. It helps I use leaded solder 99% of the time leading to lower average temperatures, of course. Leave solder on the tip when turning the iron off and heat cycle the tip as little as possible. The bent conical is perfect for precision SMD work and tight fit throughhole parts where extra heating area in a small space would be beneficial.

Versatile
Never tried bent soldering iron tip before but this surprised me. The bent trip is very natural for getting into any soldering location. The fine tip but not too small tip also good for small-ish SMD pad and holds heat well.

Awesome Quality
Great Quality! Stay with these OEM tips, they conduct heat way better than the cheap junk!

Good replacement tip
nice replacement. Gets a lot of use and so far no issues.

Skip the clones, just go OEM
I had been using a cheap 3rd party J-tip for a long time (part of one of those T18 sets sold on here), and while it was alright for the price, the very end of the tip broke after about 4 months of heavy use. I bought this and immediately saw a difference while soldering, the end of the tip is thinner, allowing for finer work, and heat transfer is noticeably better so I don't have to pump the temperate up (over my normal range) as often as I did with the other one. As for durability, I've only had this for a week so I can't really speak on that yet, but I wouldn't try to push it personally.

It's the real thing. I can't comment on all the clones out there, but the Hakko tips are really good.

Muy buena punta, ya que es delgada pero a su vez eficiente en la distribución de calor.

Expensive but good. There are many cheap imitations but none sadly live up to the performance of true Hakko soldering bits. These are especially useful for small SMD resistors and Leds. SMD Chips are good with these tips as you can fix each end point down and if you have overdone the amount of solder you can rotate your iron 180 degrees and drag across the terminals and it will even out the solder. I do like them.

Excellent choice for microsoldering hobbyists. As normal for fine solder iron tips, consider lowering the temperature to avoid early rusting. Yes, I would buy it again.
