Very quiet and powerful little fan. Perfect for in the bedroom. The swivel is great to direct where you need it. Better than some bigger fans I have had. Very light but sturdy. Looks more expensive than the price paid. Very happy and ordered another in another colour

I need a small fan for use while travelling in the summer months, and have been using this one (the Ocoopa model D602) extensively over the last few days to see how it performs in various scenarios. To summarise, it provides 3 useful levels of airflow (which at the highest setting can easily be felt over 5M away), however I would not call it 'silent'.I compared it with a mains-powered desk fan with 11inch (28cm) blades. With the two side-by-side, the larger fan on its highest setting makes about two thirds of the noise the USB fan does on its highest setting. But the types of noise made by each are very different. The USB fan tends to make a continuous 'droning' noise (which can be intrusive), while the large fan makes a 'breathy' noise (which is much more acceptable).Tips:* Run the fan continuously on its lowest speed setting for a few hours. In my case it noticeably reduced the noise levels from those it made when new.* Do not position the fan within 1M of a wall or sound reflecting surface. That positioning can amplify the noise the fan produces making it more intrusive.It may be significant that none of the supplied packaging or documentation gives a properly measured (dB A-weighted) noise level for the USB fan. It is only the 'advertising blurb' that says it is 'silent' (which can be a very subjective term). But if you are prepared to accept some level of continuous noise while the fan is running, it works reasonably well. How reliable it will be over the long term remains to be seen.

I use this fan at work and it has been a great little addition to my desk. It gives off a strong breeze for its size and keeps me cool throughout the day, especially in a warm office. Even on the highest setting it stays quiet, so it does not disturb calls or meetings.It plugs straight into my computer through USB and takes up hardly any space. The angle can be adjusted easily and the build quality feels solid.If you want something compact and reliable to stay cool at work, this is a great option. Would definitely recommend.

Really effective 3 speeds, simple push button. Tilts on the stand. Highest speed does make a noise but not excessive. I've had a lot of enquiries as to where I bought this from. Really handy for work and small enough to pop into your bag. Good length cable and a good price.

We bought this fan (blue) when it was on deal for £12.99 and it has been brilliant for my son's bedroom over the hot nights we have been having. It looks nice, is quiet and has 3 powerful speed settings. It has to be plugged in to work but this is fine seeing as how it is only used by us in a bedroom. We have no complaints about his fan at all. However, we did also purchase a pink version for our daughter for her bedroom too but hers had to be returned as it would only work for 5 minutes and then switch itself off. The return process was quick and easy but there was no option for an exchange and I was not going to pay £7 more for the same fan as it had gone up in price. We ended up getting her a different one that, in my opinion, actually works better than this one and was only £8. Therefore I cannot give this particular fan more than 3 stars.

I'm in an Airbnb that gets quite hot and has high windows, so needed a compact fan to ensure I wasn't overheating during the day.This item arrived promptly, is a great portable size so it can fit easily anywhere, and is pretty powerful with a really decent build quality. It has 3 speed settings which all do a great job and while its not totally silent, its not overly noisy either.Can't go wrong with this fan at this price point
