Micro USB 30 Pin Adapter Adaptor for Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 7500 7510

I can't believe people give 1 to 3 star reviews because they neglected to read the description. The product description (in its entirety) is only the following four lines:Brand new and high qualityUltra small and easy to carryCompatible with Micro-USB mobile phone wall or car chargersConvenient to charge your Samsung Galaxy TabThe title says it works with P1000, 7500, 7510 only.What is so hard about this? It says nothing about using it for data, nor does it says it works with every size Note and Tab. My Note is actually the N8013, which is not listed. However, I had a hard time finding something that would effectively charge it, so I thought I would give this a try. Had it not worked, that would have been MY fault, not the product's. Although, my real frustration is with Samsung, for making SOOOOO many different power level, non-standard power charges. Jerks.At any rate, the first time I plugged it in and found the little charge lightning bolt (with a standard micro USB cord from my Galaxy S4 phone and an old wall plug from my iPhone) instead of the aggravating red X, my heart sang with glee. That's really the bottom line, isn't it? I'm going to order another one.One caveat: The reviewer that stated it was a little flimsy is correct. It's got a touch o' cheap-o action going on. However, I believe the answer to this is to simply leave the micro USB cord in it all the time. The part that plugs into the Note itself is fine. Actually, it fits better than the OEM cord I own. Unfortunately, the hole for the micro USB port is iffy and slightly ill-fitting. If you don't repeatedly pull the cord in and out, it should be fine. This is a very cheap way to get around the 30-pin plug annoyance.

It worked great, and I was very pleased, for about one week! My fault though....the kids used the tablet with the adapter still on after they supposedly unplugged the tablet from the wall charger. Not sure how it broke, all I know is that I found all the pieces strewn about the room. With proper care, it may have held up longer.

This was bought as a work-around for the power cable for a Samsung Tab2 tablet that kept failing. I have numerous USB to micro-USB cables laying around and thought this 30 pin head would work with one of these seemingly more robust cables as a power supply for my tablet.Unfortunately, the 30 pin adapter came apart after only one days use. Prior to that, it did actually charge the tablet. However, just the act of removing it from the tablet caused the brittle plastic to crack around the pins. Full failure came hours later on trying to reinsert the adapter to recharge the Samsung.A useless piece of junk not worth paying the shipping price for. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone buying this product.

Daughter kept breaking all her charger cables so since we have a whole bunch of micro use cables around the house for all the other devices, I got her this. Works perfect!!!!

Not sure if it is my device or the adaptor, but this doesn't work for my device. It is supposed to help connect the keyboard and the tablet together and it doesn't. Not satisfied at all...

When I first got my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 I was surprised to find it had a non-standard charging cable configuration. I left my cable twice when travelling and had to really search for or fail to find the right cable. Now I keep this adapter with me so I can charge my tablet with cables I already have for my phone, jetpack and Mobie. Wish I had one a year ago!

Works great! I knew from prior reviews it wouldn't function as a data transfer device so I didn't expect that, and that wasn't what I needed. I just needed something to charge my tablet at the office without having to take up another USB port. This does the job perfectly by just adding it onto my phone charger cord already plugged into the computer. One less cord to deal with. I recommend it.

The Good: The adapter arrived well ahead of the projected delivery date. It was supposed to be delivered between May 28 and June 13, and arrived May 16. I received two packages with one adapter in each package, so I got two adapters. I checked my credit card statement and was only charged the $3.99, so I don't know if I was supposed to receive two, as pictured, or if they shipped two by mistake. The adapter seems well made and fits my Samsung Tab 10.2, a little tightly, but it fits. I bought it for charging, so I could use my phone charger (micro USB)and that works just fine.The Bad: The adapter does not work as a data cable. I have only tried it on one computer and it doesn't work. My phone works fine with the same cable without the adapter, so I have to assume it is the adapter. I have also read other comments on the same product sold elsewhere that says the same thing. It would be nice if the description mentioned this issue.Conclusion: If you just want an adapter for charging, it is cheaper than another charging cable.Editorial comment: Why doesn't Samsung just use the micro USB like everyone else? :)
