The scales are just plastic, not G10 like the description says. I like the little knife but I specifically bought it because it said G10 scales which I was going to practice rit dyeing before I risked practicing on my nicer knives. I like the product but disappointed in the false info.

Functionality: It's a decent little blade for the price, handy in a pinch. It is a single-bevel blade and takes a little getting used to. Most pocket knives are double-bevel, but don't let that discourage you.

I bought a few of these to give away as gifts. They're OK, but they need a little work to actually be a usable tool. I had to regrind and straighten the edge on the one I picked to use as my own personal neck knife. They have a single grind, so I spent 30 minutes on my KME modifying it to a more durable and usable double grind. I didn't bother modifying the other neck knives, and will let their recipients deal with their needed modifications next December. These mini kiridashi look cool, but IMHO, there are better neck knife bargains out there.

Bought it to open boxes and other things. One day I was opening a box and somehow the tip of the knife broke off with just opening a box. Otherwise pretty good little knife and I could imagine it would be good for every day carry.

Kinda blows. Tip came damaged out of the box. Bought this for my wife for a camping trip and she is by no means an expert with knives and even she didn’t like this thing. Also couldn’t cut butter out of the box. Sharpen it up and it is useable but not great.
