Quite clear and useful
A bassist friend quite liked this. It is a good combination of essential information. All the most common chord shapes for arpeggios and then 12 scales which are also quite common and useful. For some reasons all the scales are in G, but being the bass what it is, and tuned the way it is, they can be easily transposed by just moving the relative geometries up and down the neck and up or down the strings. The there are the 7 modes of the major scale. They are displayed intelligently all in G, so one can actually see what happens when your G becomes the 2ns, and 3rd and so forth of a major scale. Then there is a full diagram of al the notes name on the fretboard when tuned in standard tuning. A diagram of the circles of the 5th (cockwise) and of the 4ths (counterclockwise) showing how each tonality on each side of one scale (for instance C, with F and G at the sides) only differ one note. Then there is a table of the interval names and their inversions (for instance, a fifth up or a fourth down brings you to the same note). Finaly a table with all the major and minor chords for each scale. Only the triads are indicated, no 7ths degree (if that helps, I and IV are major 7th, everything else is minor 7th). A good reference which can be used in many diffent ways, dependently on how you practise and think about music.

Comprehensive bass instructions
As a relative newbie to bass playing I thought this would be a good thing to hang on my wall. It is HUGE at 24" by 47" so make sure you have a wall with plenty of space! The material is very high quality, a cloth/plastic type combo with a pack of 10 double sided sticky circular blobs you can hang it up with. I have to be honest and say many of the chords and scales went right over my head. Mixolydian and Phrygian modes had never even heard of! There are Arpeggios which I know a bit about but in truth I would probably advise people to go onto YouTube and use this once you're a bit more familiar with the basics. It is very detailed though and the print is nice and clear. If you are serious about playing the bass guitar then this is something worth having especially if you have a designated music room or study to hang it up in. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into this product, both in content and presentation, it arrives in a nice LP shaped cover too. No excuses for me not to be played like a professional by the Summer!

Big and bright
This is an information-packed big poster, bright and easy to see. I'm a beginner to music theory so I'd like it if a wee "how to" was included! However, I think it's good value and hope I progress enough to fully utilize it. Ha ha

Useful
This is a big wall mount chart on flexible canvas measuring 24x47 inches so that its big enough to see on wall whilst playing and hard wearing so that it can be folded and unfolded many times without deteriorating. This means daughter is able to take from home to school for practice and rehearsals without damage. Its very detailed and there is a lot to take in. I am hoping this will improve her music theory and knowledge over time. Purchased as a gift for my daughter who is self-taught and new to the bass guitar as a learning aid. Previously relies on using her mobile phone which can be tricky when playing. I think this is a good addition to help with her GCSE performance and grade 5 pieces.

Very good
Really good poster for a bass guitar fan. My grandson has started playing the guitar so I thought this would be handy. A friend of mine who is a music teacher had a look at this and thought it was very good.

Clear and well made
I was expecting a cardboard or paper laminated poster, but what I got was quiet a large folder printed poster printed on more hard wearing and heavy duty kind of plastic material (A bit like those wipeable table cloths!!) The print is large and easily read even by me with my deteriorating eyesight! There is a lot of information packed on to it. I'm not really a theory man when it comes to bass .. generally making stuff up as I go along perhaps not always the "right way" so maybe its time to knuckle down after all these years! You will need quite a big wall space for this!
