Stabila 08560 Tripods 27" - 66" Elevator Tripod

Stabila quality is exceptional! This little tripod is going to handle many jobs since the telescoping head reaches to about 6'. Rack and pinion helps to position laser to an exact height. UPDATE: Some months later I still find this to be a quality tripod. It is a bit on the heavy side for a small unit, but that just lends to the quality build. Would have bought the taller one, but could not justify the price when comparing to a standard survey tripod. Still love this thing and will continue to buy Stabila. UPDATE: Last week this tripod took a 4' fall onto concrete when it was in the closed position. I got lucky and there was no damage to any of the parts or the finish. I am sure part of this was a fluke, but it helps to show that this tripod is well built and can take some punishment.

It's heavy, but its heaviness lends to its high quality. This is the micro-adjustment king of tripods for laser levels. I haven't been as impressed with a tool purchase as much as this one in quite some time. If you need it, buy it ... you won't regret it.

I love this product. I have a couple lasers from this brand and it works perfect for me.

This is a great quality product. We did purchase it at the same time as making the investment of the laser. Personally I would say it’s not necessary; the tri pod that comes with the laser is more than functional. But as a replacement it is made sturdy.

Great Product, very sturdy, and would buy again...however, price check Amazon and its resellers, they are often times not the lowest price online even with "FREE" [LOL] shipping.

Quality. Leg locks feel very stout and don't account for much of the height adjustment which is awesome. Great amount of height range. Stable and base has integrated bubble level. Leg strap works like a belt and buckle, seems a bit of an afterthought but works well; might just replace it with velcro so it's not tedious.

This is an extremely high quality product, albeit more expensive than others - but this is a purchase that I think lines up closest to the old adage “you get what you pay for”
