jane iredale PurePressed Blush

Purchased one during the big Ulta sale & was so impressed by how beautiful it was that I jumped on them when they were on sale during the Prime event and ordered 3 more. I've ordered numerous powder blushes arrived smashed to smithereens. I put it down to cheap packaging and not enough protective bubble wrap for protection during shipment.... When these arrived (one tossed into a big box along with another loose heavy item, the other two just shipped in non-padded envelopes) my heart sank and I thought 'Well there's that money down the drain. To my amazement, they were all intact. I credit the very luxe and high end quality of the actual compacts themselves. Now for the actual product review: While these have plenty of color saturation, the shades are subtle and natural looking. The texture of the powder is silky and fine. Queen Bee is an almost, not quite hot pink or bright rose. Awake is a soft baby pink and Barely Rose is a medium neutral rose. I already had Cotton Candy, which is a breathtaking pale pink cloud. These are rather pricey and the pans aren't huge but I highly recommend. UPDATE: Ordered 2 more of these during last prime event. Again thrown into a paper envelope along with a big bottle of setting spray. This time one of the blushes did get damaged. It wasn't too bad so I just repressed it with some alcohol. BUT PLEASE AMAZON, STOP JUST TOSSING POWDER BLUSH INTO A FLIMSY ENVELOPE WITH NO EXTRA BUBBLE WRAP OR CUSHIONING. Update 2. Ordered again and another broken one. Third time's the charm to learn a lesson for me I guess. Not ordering any more of these off Amazon.

I love that this blush is so highly tinted that I use very little of it, which means I have to order less frequently. (It's pricey.) I want clean cosmetics that work, and that's what I got with this blush.

I'm fairly new to Jane Iredale cosmetics. I started with the "Forever Pink" lip product. I recently paired it with the "Awake" blush and what a complimentary pair. I'm very fair skinned, and prefer a natural look, this combination is perfect. I don't need alot of product and gives a nice fresh, natural look. Very happy, will look for others in this cosmetic brand.

I love the product, the shade is good for my complexion, but I am 91 years old, and I didn't know it had Sparkles in it until I received it, and applied to my skin. I guess it will do around my home, but not when I go out in public. Guess I'll buy another Estee Lauder blush.

I have been using Jane Iredale pressed powder for years. I have tried the cream versions but not a fan of how they sit on my skin. Also not a fan of the loose powder versions for the same reason... not to mention loose powders (in a different brand) irritated my skin!! Jane Iredale does not irritate my skin, is buildable in coverage, and has SPF..a bonus! While I have applied it w/a brush, I prefer to use a sponge. To set, and to not look too powdery, I use a light setting spray. I am always getting compliments on my skin. I am over 50 and people are always surprised when I tell them my age.If not certain about the color, go to Jane Iredale's website to find a location that sells the product near you. I like to have one lighter and one darker color on hand... one for winter, one for summer, and sometimes use both to get the perfect color. I will NEVER use another brand!

Have been using this blush foreverIt is never brassy looking

I have fair skin and have had trouble finding a good blush for a long time. Either they're too sheer, too bright, too orange, too pink, too dark, etc. I was close to giving up on finding the perfect blush til I decided to try this one. It was more than I was wanting to spend but ended up being so worth it. It's the perfect shade of pink, enough to give me some color without being too sheer but looks very natural. "Awake" is a great name for this blush shade as it really does make me look awake and put together. The packaging is really nice as well, seems sturdy. I haven't really tried other Jane Iredale products but after using this blush I may have to try the rest of the line.

I have been using this Jane Iredale pressed powder for years. It offers a very good range of colors, is lightweight and provides good coverage as well as sun blockage. Is made from natural components and has no fragrance.
