The author’s raw and honest exploration of grief, resilience, and healing felt like a mirror reflecting the emotional journeys I witness in my clients. From the outset, the book draws you into a profoundly personal narrative that doesn’t shy away from the messy, complicated process of emotional recovery. The way the author articulates their pain and growth reminded me of the strength and vulnerability I encourage in my therapy sessions. It served as a poignant reminder of the human capacity for transformation through hardship. What stood out to me as a therapist was the emphasis on self-compassion and the gradual nature of healing. The author’s journey is a testament to the importance of giving oneself permission to feel, process, and eventually move forward. This aligns with the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy that I employ, where acknowledging and reshaping one’s narrative plays a crucial role in overcoming emotional challenges. The Tears That Taught Me is not only a powerful read for those navigating their grief but also a valuable resource for therapists seeking to deepen their empathy and understanding of the client’s inner world. The reflections and insights offered in the book have enriched my practice, reminding me to honor each client’s unique path to healing. This book is a heartfelt companion for anyone working through their pain or supporting others in doing so, making it a must-read for therapists and clients alike. Review: A wonderful read - Such a good book. I found it to be so many things; inspirering, encouraging, emotional, tranquil, calm & soothing. Shows real emotions. You will breathe deep & feel like you are not alone, you will cry & you will smile because even w/ all the emotions it is a wonderful book. Grab a cup of coffee, a blanket & curl up on the couch.

Heartfelt, Healing, and Inspiring – A Book That Stays With You
The Tears That Taught Me” is an absolutely beautiful and powerful book. From the very first page, it pulls you in with raw emotion, honesty, and hope. The writing is deeply moving and heartfelt, filled with lessons about strength, healing, and finding peace through pain. Every chapter feels genuine and relatable — it’s clear the author poured their soul into these pages. The message is inspiring and uplifting, reminding readers that even in our darkest moments, growth and grace can emerge. The quality of the writing, layout, and presentation is excellent. It’s one of those books that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading — I found myself reflecting on it for days. I would highly recommend this to anyone going through a tough time or seeking a reminder of how resilience and love can transform heartbreak into wisdom. Truly a must-read.

Profound impact and messaging
It’s a very easy read with a PROFOUND IMPACT on those that are holding on to something long enough to know they need to let go to receive what gifts are in store for them. The words, passages, advice and insight changed me. Nine years of therapy and this book started to undo what I thought would never be undone. I recommend getting the workbook with it too. The literature is not difficult to consume. It’s a quick and very easy read but you will read it over and over again. The words will resonate with everyone differently. Yes, there are religious references but at the end of the day no matter how our religions differ we all have that greater power and faith we practice- it can be applied across that.

All About the Process of Healing
This book contains some memorable quotes. " No one has helped me grow quite like those who have hurt me.". With each hurt we experience, there are lessons to be learned. We also learn that as we heal and grow, we develop a new mindset that allows us to do away with toxic people. Life is a journey. Your circle may become smaller as you become more selective. We deserve happiness, and God wants this for each of us. This book is a bit vague, not really giving precise instructions, but overall a good read for anyone who has been hurt and survived.

Spiritual Coaching for Life, Love, and Business
A simple and short read - don’t forget to highlight! So many points made are facts, finger snaps, and revelations. Relatable in areas of love, life, as well as business/corporate culture. Whether you’re going through a spiritual awakening, trying to make it to the next level, or validating a relationship with family or a significant other, this is a good read.

This is not really a book, it's more a collection of positive affirmations. I was really disappointed. There is lots of blank spaces between the writing and the book is very thin. It's not worth your money.

Truly meaningful messages and writing, for sunrise and sunsets with coffee/tea, just like inspirational images suggest. On some occasions, I would read and reflect several times on one page, because reflections truly resonated with me. Perfect literature to have on the book shelf at the cottage for yourself and guests to reflect with while reconnect with one's self.
