The House With 100 Eyes

This has some of the absolute worst audio. It's always either way too soft, or way too loud. I had to crank my volume very high to hear the actors soft voices, then there's unnecessary loud noise. I have to give it 3 stars, because it really is an interesting movie. But if I have to constantly adjust my volume due to vast extremes of audio, it heavily subtracts from being able to enjoy it. And just to be clear, the problem is not on my end. I just watched two movies before this, and didn't have to touch my volume at all.

There was a slow start, I almost turned the movie off only minutes in. There's an annoying scratching static noise that hurt my ears. The actors were comically bad. But the story was awesome. After the action started, it did not let up. This is a good old fashioned, twisted gore fest of a movie. If you like torture scenes, you can't go wrong with this movie.

This movie had some major issues, When I want a horror/comedy combo, I would rather watch the original Evil Dead Trilogy or the Hatchet flix 3 times in a row than sit through this garbage again. The plot is stupid. "We're married and we want to make a 'masterpiece' sex/snuff film with three kills! This will be our legacy, and help define our love!..." I won't say more about the movie, except to say that I am sooo glad it isn't in my collection of nearly 5000 DVDs! I would be so ashamed! I'm glad I only wanted comedy from Prime. Their horror films don't even deserve B movie standing.

its OK for a found footage movie trying to come off as a "Snuff Film" the comedic aspect provided some relief from the blurred body parts presented the argument what am I really as a film my problem was what kind of movie are I.ll leave it to you to figure out.

FANTASTIC! Very original and convincing. Acting is top notch. I found it both disturbing and terrifying. Really got to me. Shannon Malone steals it. Wonderful actress. Hope good things come to everyone involved in this production. You can make a masterpiece without a big Hollywood budget or stars. Not sure how to describe it. I won't try. Just see it.

not for the squeamish....really give me break. this was a joke, first off the nudity (or lack there of) was so sloppy. ok, so here we have two serial killers making a snuff film and they blurr out the genitalia parts while filming....seriously is that possible, and besides is'nt that some of the stuff we're looking for within this kind of film, not to mention that you can blatantly see the actors are wearing flesh toned underwear in some shots...really poorly done guys c'mon get with it. ok with that said now lets move on to the violence (gore) parts if you will.....PG13 at best, a nail thru the hand and a cut across the belly of a chubby girl's belly....boring and not provoking any squeamish feelings at all. we got more gore from the Final Destination and Saw series than this ever did....Overall, very dissapointing.

I'm not sure why the other reviewers didn't like this. The audio was good and this was meant to be a sick perverse comedy...and yes, I thought it was an absolute riot. If you don't want to see this stuff, DON'T WATCH. I love horror and a lot out there is crap...including Hollywood stuff. If you want a fun, funny, violent (authentic) and descriptive horror/comedy...this is it.

A couple search for 3 young people for making a snuff-film. By a playing-time of around 75 minutes everything looks very realistic. Installed cameras in the house and handycams show the hunting for victims, their torture and death. At the beginning it is mentioned that real tapes and dvds got found, but every watcher could be happy to read that at the end it is mentioned that everything is fiction. The end of the movie let it open how it ends...

A husband & wife team want to produce the ultimate triple header snuff movie. This film is comical & horrible by turns with the banter between the couple feeling very genuine (no doubt in part because they are are married couple in real life). An ample splash of torture porn gore rounds out the proceedings. I was really impressed with the deliberate manipulation/distortion of the sound during murder scenes to make things more unpleasant. I hope to see more from these directors in the future.

A good b movie!Not a lot of budget but descent!

Whilst the subject matter didn't disturb or upset me, the general feeling of the film was unwatchable. Yes there's gore, blood, violence and mutilation, but I just didn't care. The two main characters in the movie weren't particularly interesting or charismatic and the whole movie was just a mess. Add to that the god awful noise fluctuations which seem to have been put in as 'jump scares' and you just end up with a headache. I had to give up after an hour as it just wasn't interesting. It's another case of a well made cover for a badly made movie I had hoped for a lot more.

Really glad I gave this film a go. I read about it and knew I had to watch it because I love "found footage" movies and serial killers, and this ticks both boxes! The story is that middle aged married couple Ed and Susan are looking to make the perfect snuff film. They have cameras rigged all over their house and they drive around looking for their victims. Of course things do not go as smoothly as they planned and there are twists and surprises along the way. The quality of found footage films is variable, this one is not overly shaky but does suffer from horrible bursts of static in the sound which serve no real purpose other than adding to the amateur style of the filming. The acting is convincing, the actors playing Ed and Susan are unsettling and creepy, The story moves along at a decent pace, and the ending is ok. This film is a little disturbing, although the actual gore content isn't too bad, there are darkly humourous moments, scenes of a sexual nature and lots of non-bloody violence. I enjoy found footage and think this is a good example of the genre, but I appreciate it will not be for everyone. If you aren't into this type of movie, chances are this one won't change your opinion. But if you like found footage and haven't seen it, the house with 100 eyes is worth watching.
