Realize it's limits
I've tried out several "jump packs" like this. I consider most just a battery with jumper cables (and perhaps a few other features like light, 12V outlet, etc). I like to describe it by the battery rating, like 22 amp-hour for this one. Many may be impressed by the "1700 peak amps" advertised numbers, yet all brands say in the manual things like "Never crank a car engine for over 5 seconds or you'll damage the battery" to show how long it can handle even ~100 amp draw (and how unreal that 1700 is). So don't expect that much from it. If running things that need constant power, then remember it'll supply 1 amp for 22 hours, or 2 amps for about 11 hours, etc (as the "22 amp-hour" implies). Also don't forget to "recharge after any use as well as every 60 days when not used" as the directions give. They say to "Only use our AC charger on it" which does seem to regulate the power sent to ~14.5V. So you could leave that plugged in 24/7, yet you shouldn't need to do that making me suggest get a timer to come on for 15-30 minutes a day. That way it's not literally charging constantly, but you don't have to routinely plug it in yourself either and it will get topped off constantly. My best example of jumping a car happened a few years ago where a buddy called saying he left a light on all night (so the car battery was totally drained). He had a 4 cylinder car, so I first tried a pack labeled for it with just a 10 AH battery. It made the dash lights come on with the keys in, but couldn't crank the engine at all. Not surprised at it not being big enough, I removed it and tried another pack with an 18 AH battery. It could slowly crank the engine, but still didn't start his car. So I then went to a 3rd one like this (with 22 AH) that got him started. Some may view that story as "The last one was the only one that worked", yet they all gave some power showing progress. I think of the car battery like a 5 gallon bucket and it took more than 1 pack (like a 1 gallon bucket) to even half-way refill the empty 5 gallon. So one pack alone can fail to get you going depending on the car battery conditions (yet it may start a car with the lights on for an hour while having dinner or such). The light and compressor are good features when needed. Don't hope to need them, but nice to have. I've actually used packs like this more for power while camping (like run an air mattress blower etc) rather than jumping cars every day. Also this does have the "reverse connection alarm" where you connect the clamps with the switch off, look for the green light on the pack (and/or no red with beeping), then turn on the switch if it's correct to do the jump (or remove them if you got the red before any damage happens). This isn't 100% "fool-proof" where you could still turn it on when wrong, but it does give you a confirmation before starting (unless the car battery is at 0V, then you need to double check it). Note, some packs require ~3V or better power from the car to connect up (and won't do anything if the car battery is 0V), so this will still work in that situation (while the others won't). One thing I like about this one better than many is the way the "Battery status" lights work. Many packs have a % display or the LEDs come on with the battery at certain voltage regardless of conditions. The voltage level does give you info, but you want to see different voltage levels when charging versus using the battery. On this pack while charging (with power on the "charge" port), the red LED comes on while below 13.0V, the yellow LED comes on between 13.0 and 13.25, the first green LED comes one between 13.25-13.5, and the second green for "full" comes on above 13.5V. That is exactly what you want to see while charging (like 13.0V is very low while charging). After charging and while running things (with no power on the charge port), it follows that pattern but drops the voltage 1V lower on everything (red below 12.0V, yellow 12.0 to 12.25, etc). Again that's exactly what you want to see for that condition, yet if it just had the red below 13.0V (like charging mode) it wouldn't tell you anything while running things. So I like how it "switches" for the condition you are in to give you the details needed. If you understand the voltages under the conditions, a voltage reading is good, otherwise this is better than many. Overall these aren't a sure fix for every situation and you don't want to have to open the hood every time you go to the car, so if the car battery is going bad, deal with it. Otherwise for the once-in-awhile situations it may get you out of a bad spot.

This product works well and customer service went the extra mile to make sure I got a good product. I would probably give it 4.5 stars because it has some idiosyncrasies of which one MUST be aware. But I'm giving it 5 stars for the Customer Service. One idiosyncrasy of which you must be aware: YOU MUST charge the unit until the status gauge is showing 13-14v (WHICH is very misleading because that is well BEYOND what the gauge calls a 100% charge. At 100% it will NOT jumpstart your car. At 14V (which takes about 30+ hours of charging with the AC charger and is well past 100% ) it started my Toyota Tundra easily 6 times (my truck starts easily (no extended cranking) but it does take a big battery and this unit handled it easily. 2) The first of these units I bought did not come with an AC charging unit. It only came with a cig lighter charging unit. The replacement didn't come with a DC charging unit but only an AC charging unit. I also tested the tire inflation feature. It works very well. NOT really fast but still did the job. I let all of the air out of my 265 65/R17 truck tire and used this unit to inflate it. It took exactly 15min. to get to 35lbs of pressure (max rating for this tire). Afterward the status gauge was showing 13V. I did not try to jump the truck with it so I don't know if it has enough juice to do both without a recharge. I have yet to use it to power my APAP but this is one of the reasons I bought it so I will update after checking that out.

Great! Not water proof!!
Very satisfied with both the jump start and compressor features, works as intended. However, DO NOT expect this product to be water proof, the door compartment for the air hose fully exposes the PCB (circuit board) when open. Any water in there could brick this whole thing. Also the plastic cover over the gauges/switches is more of a mud gaurd. If you're looking for a beast of a battery Jumpstart / air compressor that can handle anything you throw at it on the side of the road. this might not be the one. That being said. Works as intended, great in favorable weather conditions.

Did not work.
The first item had a little glitch. Reported it to the company and they sent me a new one within a week. Warranty is honored quickly.

I Would Rate This a 0 If I Had That Option!
This was such a waste of money and time. 1st off I wasted 40 Hours of my time for the initial Charge, To find out this thing won't even Fully charge and also won't hold a charge. I charged my cell phone for 1 minute to test it then it quickly went down to %75 Then I recharged it with the Green light showing on. Then I plugged in a 12 volt Wdemna mini fridge for a quick minute, it went down to %70 then I recharged it again and never saw the green charging light again and now when unplugged it discharges and won't fully charge. I've been dealing with Amazon long enough to be almost Certain that this item was used, returned and Defective when they sent it to me Trying to pass the Defective Buck off to someone else which is so disrespectful to loyal, good customers. I'm Now packing it back up for a Return/Refund which is more Time Consuming and more waste of time Taking it to a UPS Drop Off Facility.. I'm done with Tyrell and the other name they use after this Disrespect !!!.. PS.. I Contacted The Company First About These Problems and They Never Responded 😕

Power inverter was great for camping. Charged phone and other things. I used it to blow up my air mattress. Just check the specs of your blower before use. The Inverter is rated for 400w. Great to have in the car for putting air in tires and for emergency jump starts. Works well to boost my suv. Actually had to use it the other day and thankfully I had it in my car ready to go.

Bought, charged initially, charged a couple more times, over time, to make sure it was fullied charge incase needed, fuse popped, replaced fuse and it instantly popped that fuse, smoked and had a small fire (was able to blow out).
