Sturdy Foot Rest with a Reasonable Price.
I bought this sturdy Wooden Foot Rest to replace another one that became useless after 3 years. It had plastic housings with metal semi-locking mechanisms to keep it's two adjustable platforms in place. The plastic housing broke in 4 places and the mechanisms stopped working completely. This Foot Rest's simplistic design with a heavy-duty piano hinge works perfectly for me. I use it under my Counter-Height Kitchen Table. It was easily assembled in 5 minutes. An added Plus was that the color matches my kitchen table and chairs, and I know that it will last many years.

Good quality materials, works very well.
I bought one of these to use at my desk, since my legs were never quite comfortable flat on the floor. I received the package and was quite impressed with the quality of materials as well as the design. For my desk, it worked just as I had hoped. But I tried using it as a guitar foot stool and found that it worked great in that role too. I ordered a second one. These are made in China for a Texas based company. The Luan plywood used for the stool is very good quality, and assembly is easy. The instructions are only so-so, but it's so simple to assemble that it's no big deal. Way better quality than your average "flat pack" Ikea style furniture. Real high quality plywood--no MDF or particle board. 4 bolts for assembly and you're done. Recommended.

VERY good, but imperfect
Overall, this is a little high but perfectly sturdy.I purchased this for $38 to replace a $30 plastic foot rest that busted. Owning that first foot rest showed me that people adjust our body positions in our chairs typing at our desks in a manner that requires the foot rest to briefly support our full body weight. Now that I know how I move and impact foot rests, I have concluded all plastic foot rests will never be strong enough to hold my body weight -- around 190-pounds (86 kg), give-or-take, depending on COVID-induced eating habits. As I adjust in my chair, a plastic foot rest will always break. I went with this solid wood product with the expectation it would be sturdier. I succeeded. This product arrived in four pieces with four screws and a wrench. The instructions were imprecise but assembling these pieces was so intuitive the instructions could be shredded and my 8-year-old could assemble this correctly. After both minutes spent making this into a box with an adjustable lid, I recycled the broken plastic under my desk and replaced it with this item. I started with the lid in a flat position and moved my chair to the top height. I am 5'10" (70-inches or 178 cm) and the height on this footrest is not adjustable. It is about two-inches too high for me. The top can be angled and has two firm, fixed positions. I adjusted this footrest to the first position and have found this to be my most comfortable. I sit at my desk in bare feet and have found the texture of the rubber mat on the lid to be excellent. In spite of the height issue, this first angled position is stable and I am not distracted trying to fix it as occurred with the plastic foot rest I used to own. The sharper angle works well when I lean back in my chair reading my tablet. Yesterday I put the lid down flat and used this footrest as a step-stool to change a lightbulb.Ultimately, I am keeping this for my desk at the office. It does a better job than the broken plastic I had before, it is sturdy, solid construction, seems built to last (I say after owning it for only one whole week), and functions as the improved foot rest I wanted. Spend a few extra dollars and get something that lasts.

Great for short folks! Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Smartly designed and packed.
LOVE IT — one month in. Short people, YES!!! FOR US!!!The adjustable tilt is more awesome than I expected, and all the dimensions are well thought out — generous without being ginormous.Despite it being about twice what I initially budgeted, I am very pleased I sprang for it, it is an excellent bargain. (How often do we say that?!) Highly recommended.

I love this foot rest
Great quality! Durable and easy to assemble. Great support for your feet. I have purchased many foot rest and this by far is the best one I’ve purchased. It has multiple angles of elevation. Thank you!🙏🏽😊 From a happy customer.

Perfect footrest for my son when using the PC
My son tends to use the subwoofer as a footrest and it was driving me crazy because he would wind up pushing it around and causing cables to disconnect. I gave him this and he hasn't moved the subwoofer around since. This footrest is much sturdier since its made of wood. It doesn't shift around like the plastic footrests. The grip and adjustable angles are great.
