The kit was very easy to use with directions that made sense! I love the diagram of the placement. This was my first time pressing flowers that ended up so vibrant. I did, however leave the flowers pressed longer than it was calling for for my own peace of mind. The straps were very sturdy and it was nice it came with three. Now I want to get a bigger one!

This does exactly what it describes. Just messing around I did a flower I grew in my garden. I used the materials it came with and it turned out perfect. Next time I will do no white paper. Great gift for flower lovers!

Works beautifully. Instructions are tiny and barely intelligible but easy to figure out. Problem is finding replacement papers for the use. I could easily go through the ones that came with it within a week or so. Also more board aper, which is hard to dry out would be good. 5 star if they sold replacement parts for this flower press.

I've been pressing flowers for a week now and really enjoying this kit. I liked that the absorbing boards are reusable; they must be stored in a sealed bag or container because they absorb moisture from the air as well. It's very simple to assemble referring to the included diagram. I slightly damaged the edge of the wooden plates because I thought I needed extreme pressure my first go around. In actuality, basic securing pressure is enough. Already have 27 blooms pressed including pansies, violas, primrose, serenity African daisies, a ranunculus, begonias, a dandelion, and daffodils. Now to figure out how to store them in a useful way.

I’ve been pressing flowers for the past 3 years using first books/paper & then a rudimentary homemade press. I recently moved & am without a press at the moment, but while visiting my mom I wanted to preserve some of the flowers from her beautiful garden so I ordered this as it had good reviews & wasn’t super expensive. I am so impressed that I literally bought a second one a week later. The use of this press with drying plates & sponges (which I had never used before) left me with the best results I’ve ever gotten pressing flowers. The flowers dry quickly & retain their color very well. I tried one zinnia that was very thick & bulbous just to see & was so pleasantly surprised with how it turned out that I bought the second press just to fill with more zinnias! It is small but it can hold a surprising amount of flowers & when the straps are on tight, it’s pretty small & compact. I almost never write reviews but I really honestly think this is a great product & would 100% recommend it either to someone looking to begin pressing flowers or to someone who wants to upgrade from their current press. Edit: one year since my original review & I’m back to say I still love & use this product on a regular basis & have, unsurprisingly, purchased a third. I don’t think there’s been a single time over the past year that at least one press wasn’t in use & I’ve literally started a business selling pressed flower art (@ pressitrealgood on the gram if you’re interested)!

I love the press. But the instructions or lack thereof are terrible. I didn’t know you could dry the boards out and so they’ve just been absorbing moisture this whole time. I only knew because I saw a review from someone else.

Excellent press. I like the concept of it being portable. It's a good size, so I can fit most any flower in it.

Opened it up just now to press some spring flowers and there are no straps inside. Update: straps were included. My mistake. They fell out and were misplaced. Anyway now that I’ve used the product I can say it’s very well made and impressed with the quality. the straps are very tight and the flower dries out quickly and is pressed perfectly. This product will give years of enjoyment.

Works really well, but the urge to move to a bigger system soon comes..

Para un curso que tenía, me pidieron unas flores prensadas y utilicé este pequeño kit, muy completo y quedaron maravillosamente prensadas todas las plantas que puse. No puedo decir que sea profesional, pero hay una diferencia enorme con otras plantas que prensé de manera directa con peso en libros.
