Great quality!
Great packaging and product! Love that they are fresh and not super old. Vibrant and tastes great in the food!

Very high quality
I used these in a Mole sauce. They are beautiful peppers: clean well dried, but not too dry. The peppers should still be a little flexible and leathery, and these were perfect. The Arbol peppers are quite hot, so I used fewer of them and more Guajillo. It was a project, but well worth the effort. Study the many recipes and videos out there, pick one and go for it. I loved the process and everyone loved the results.

Adds a good chili flavor to foods.
I toast these a little then rehydrate and process all four into a single paste. Have been adding to chili recipes and shrimp fajita recipes. I freeze batches to have handy when needed.

insane
CAUTION: I have ground and roasted chilie de arbols for many dishes over the years. But these - a whole different level. They are fresh - still flexible and pliable. So I did what I usually do, roasted them in the pot before adding the next ingredients - then took the lid off the pot - and pretty much pepper sprayed myself and the entire kitchen. Yeah full 4 alarm - fans, open windows, hack, running nose, can't breathe. You have been warned. Oh, and then typically that dish is hot when made, but mellows down in heat the next day. Nope. Still hot. Be cautious with the amount of these. I can't wait to use the other types.....

It had mold on some of them. I opened the guajillo chiles for birria and they had mold on them.
