I have thick ankles. What is the ankle width on these boots?

I don’t have the exact measurements but I’ve worn them with multiple thick socks for a winter event and it was fine, plus the laces are like normal shoes so you can make them wider. You also don’t have to lace them through the top couple loops that are there.

Are these good for walking long distances?

It honestly depends on if you are used to both long distances, and platforms. I wasn't used to wedge platforms when I got these, so my feet constantly sliding down the shoe due to the incline and making my toes touch the toe-box wasn't fun. Other than that, these shoes are pretty comfortable - I've been able to walk about half a mile in them multiple times per day and my feet weren't that sore. I'd definitely recommend giving your feet, mind, and body time to adjust to the shoes before walking long distances in them. Start off small, maybe go to the grocery store or run some errands to get used to walking in them (and being taller!). Hope this helps :)

What size/length are the laces?

I don’t actually have them as they are my daughters but I did see them. And the laces are pretty long they’re kind of like length of a boot lace.
