Great item for hinges
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Works Perfectly for Clean, Accurate Hinge Holes! I’m really impressed with this 35mm Forstner drill bit. The tungsten carbide cutting edges are extremely sharp, and it produces smooth, clean holes with zero tear-out—even in tougher hardwoods. I used it to install several cabinet door hinges, and every cut was precise thanks to the built-in depth stop. No more guessing or risking drilling too deep! The bit feels solid and well-made, and it stays cool and sharp even after multiple uses. If you do any woodworking or cabinet work, this is a must-have tool. Excellent quality for the price. Highly recommended!

Very good quality
Very good quality that cut into my worktops with ease. The adjustable stop is a great add on that not all these tools have.

Got the job done.
I cut hinge 35mm holes in a kitchen cupboard door. The holes came out a little oversize but this may be because I used a hand held cordless drill and not a pillar drill. Otherwise It did the job. If you do have the same issue as I did ( and I am an experienced kitchen fitter), just be careful to apply a good steady pressure when screwing in the hinge fixing screws Also be careful not to drill too deep as the spur cutters cut a fair bit deeper than the main cutting blades. This can be a critical matter if, like me, your doors have bevelled edges, so not much room for error in the cutting depth! If in doubt, pare away to the ultimate depth, slowly, with a good sharp chisel.

Good simple jig
This jig is easy to use and works well. It's not complicated to use and comes with the necessary drill bit to use for the pilot holes. The hole borer is of good quality and stayed sharp throughout.

Only suitable for MDF
I ignored the more expensive ones and bought this cheap item because I only had 4 holes to drill. I am upscaling a sideboard with hidden hinges instead of the exterior hinges supplied. The sideboard is made of softwood pine (and what looks like a veneer. This item https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CHLD3RW/ As a test I tried using this drill bit in a scrap of MDF. The one hole was a fair amount of work. You constantly have to stop and remove the shavings otherwise your drilling will go no where. Though the end result is a decent finish hole. My second test was on a hidden area on a section of pine that makes up the sideboard. Immediately the drill bit started to wander everywhere not making a neat hole. Also, coincidentally the place I chose to drill had a small wood knot, which scuppered the performance of this bit. I've abandoned it and purchased a more expensive Bosch and a Kreg Jig plus bit. So, only purchase this if you have MDF or softwood without knots. Otherwise buy something more suitable for your wood type.
