Fantasic Birth Year Keepsake
Be it the 1988 Proof set or any other U.S, year proof set, this is a great gift or keepsake for the numismatist in your family. Even if they aren't into coins and you are, this is a great way to get someone started into an interest in coin and currency collecting. People are generally fascinated or at least taken by things that are from or represent the year of their birth. I ordered this for myself because I have recently started coin collecting and decided I wanted some U.S coins from my birth year. So, I bought the Silver eagle from '88 and then this proof set, and I'm working on the gold. Bottom line; if you or your loved one has any interest in coins, get them this keepsake to introduce them to the wonderful world of coins.

Nice set
Arrived on time even though it didnt have tracking. But overall looks like a very nice set. No cracking to the case. Had no authenticity card.

My husband was so ecstatic
I bought this as a Valentine's day gift for my husband who is just crazy about collecting coins and paper currency, including foreign currency. He LOVED LOVED it, he was so excited and couldn't stop smiling!! He told me that these coins were produced in the San Francisco mint and he said he rarely sees any from there and he's from CA so that was pretty awesome! He thinks i paid a lot of money for them hahaha. Despite the terrible weather here, it still came on time. THANK YOU!!

Came Late but it's great!
The product itself is in great condition an I have no complaints. It has the sealed proof coins, certification, and the box - all of which are in good condition. My original order got lost in the mail, but the company was very expedient in getting me a new one. The time delay was disappointing, but since I was in no hurry to get this, it was no problem at all.
