Ibanez M300C

After toting my Ibanez bass guitars around for years in a Gator case, I decided to purchase a case that is specifically built for the Ibanez SR series bass guitars. I was not disappointed. It fits the basses perfectly, which is what I had expected. The ABS hardshell case looks great and appears to be durable. My only concern is that the 4 latches are made of plastic and I am not sure how well they would hold up if getting bumped around. I guess time will tell. It is reasonably priced for a custom fit case and not much more expensive than a Gator "universal" case. I want to point out that the Gator case I own is a quality built case. I would recommend a Gator if you aren't able to find an Ibanez case. But in a Gator you instrument can slide around a bit. I like the fact that in the Ibanez model specific case, the guitar fits in perfectly and snug with no chance of sliding around during transport. I recommend the MB300C for your Ibanez SR series basses.

Excellent case -- expensive (I paid $160 + sales tax), but worth every penny. The bass fits snugly into the molded cutout, except for the strap button (see below). The push-down latches are easy and quick to use -- a huge improvement over standard latches.I didn't buy a cheaper, generic case, because they're all non-fitted, and use foam cutouts and wedges to secure the instrument (and a lot of 'em don't even have that). Nothing beats a custom fit. It's sturdy and solid -- it'll keep my guitar secure for any traveling and reasonable handling I'll ever do.For those thinking about getting something cheaper -- if your guitar ever gets damaged in its case, will you wish you had spent the extra money for this one?My only quibble is that the cutout doesn't quite make room for the left strap button. It fits in, but the button is going to rub a hole in the plush at that spot. I'd take half a star off, if I could.Great case, very satisfied with this purchase.

I wanted to get this case for my Ibanez PIB3 and it didn't disappoint -- my guitar fits like a glove in the case. The outer shell of the case feels sturdy and looks very sharp. The recessed Ibanez name along the case looks striking and helps set it apart from generic cases. The interior is plush red velvet. I had a little more storage space in my old case for extra gear than I do in this case. I was a little leary about the plastic latches but they have not given me any troubles so far.

My Ibanez bass fits this case like a hand in a glove, it is perfect. It looks great and is tough as steel. The inside is soft and form fitting so nothing can damage my precious bass. I am highly satisfied and highly recommend this vendor.

Great case and fit for an SR series bass. I had shipping issues, instead of the Bass case being sent the electric guitar case was sent twice. Took nearly 6 weeks to finally get the right case sent to me.Happy with the case, snug fit and quality latches that lock.

Outstanding quality, beautiful appearance. Custom latches are really nice. Form fitting interior houses my Ibanez Jem 7 perfectly. Will fit all the RG and Jem series guitars, along with other Ibanez models with that body shape. Although a bit pricey, the overall quality makes it well worth the price.

A new home for older 90's Ibanez SR405 maple body bass. The case itself is molded with a textured knurled surface with large Ibanez logo. Also, has tough ABS plastic latches and handle. Inside is red plush throughout including covering backside hinges.Moreover, includes 3 open storage compartments for your strap, capo, micro pedals, and tuner etc. First, the upper compartment is deep inside, top to bottom, for instrument cable maybe a couple of micro pedals. Second, lower compartment fits, strap and tuner. Last, the smallest compartment is meant for a guitar capo. Two smaller compartments have topside padding for secure fit during travel. Topside has extra padding down neck to bridge to hold it securely. Made in China. Solved my GAS problem for now.Pros: Sturdy, just fits, obviously made for PRO BASS PLAYER! Davie504 approves. Slap like on this review.Cons: One of the two handle brackets seems suspiciously loose where its attached to the case. The strap buttons on my bass are a snug fit into upper horn and at bridge end maybe 1/4" undersized but no problem squeezing in. Case hinge stops are cloth strap design but I knew this when I purchased.4/5 overall the case is very nice and will do the job.USPS shipped case to main hub twice. They shipped out to smaller hub in opposite direction outside major city then back again to main hub. They changed delivery times and dates a couple of times before notice of delay.
