Makes draining easier!
I bought this for our Whytner ARC 14s to make draining easier. I thought the price a little steep but it does what it should. I've only drained my unit about 3 times since owning, about once a month, all of those times where I've asked, "I wonder how much water is in the unit?" About one of these buckets worth.I unscrew the thing covering the whole, put the bucket against the hole and lean the unit towards me. The water comes out and I carry it to the sink. I say it works well. Previously I used a sheet pan to put under the unit and collect whatever water came out. I suppose the bucket is easier than the sheet pan. Recommended!

I found it difficult not to spill water
When I tip my ac unit to pour water out, the water spills down between the ac and this device. Otherwise it’s good

How this makes it easier
I wish had known about this before I bought my new window AC unit. This product should appear every time someone thinks of buying a portable AC unit. So you don't have to use the hose that comes with it, which ended up being a mess.

Waste of money - use a baking sheet instead
This was a complete waste of money. Trying to angle this thing in a way where the water came out of the AC , then trying to keep it from spilling on the floor was ridiculous. I tried this multiple times and eventually realized that a small baking sheet that I had could slide under the ac and allow it to drain without issue. I also used an absorbent sponge in the tray to keep the water from sloshing around and out of the tray. So for less than $10 I had a solution that I’m still using a year later. Couldn’t return this because the time period had passed.

Way over priced...
So yes it does fit barely under the drain opening but it's really lightweight and doens't hold a lot of condensation. If you're having a drip drip kind of drain it should be okay but don't even think about using this while in dehumidifier mode. Overall it's an okay product but it's so over priced I think I could have made something just as good for a lot cheaper. It's a $10 product for over $30.

Good. I use it with the Midea Portable AC
Just what I needed. I have the midea portable AC and this works fine for draining it. Only thing is, you will have to lift the AC on top of a crate or something to be able to reliably drain the bottom tray. A bit of a hassle since the AC is quite heavy. Be careful and try to lift it straight up as water can drip from the inside.

It does not hold entire tank of water and does not catch the water being drained.
I dislike it cause it does not do the job well.
