Hate it
A few weeks after purchasing and the monitor no longer charges when plugged in. Another big problem is that if your cell phone is near the monitor it will not work. The signals must get crossed so the picture goes out, it make a super annoying beeping noise and displays a message on the screen that says "Waiting for Connecting" (yes, clearly not grammatically correct). This is frustrating for me as I keep the monitor and my cell phone on my nightstand at night. I've had to separate them so that the monitor doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night.

Didn't Last a Month
I was very happy with this to start. One day, I was going to move the camera and unplugged it. I've never been able to get it and the monitor connected again. I'm so bummed. It's cheaply made and the connection is glitchy... and now mine isn't even working and I have a brand new baby I can't watch. I am sending this back for a refund. All it says is "Waiting for Connecting".

So many pros!
Ok, so I have invested a lot of money in additional cameras and replacement monitors for two different Summer Infant brand video monitors. I was hesitant to buy another video camera and refused to buy another Summer Infant brand. But now that I am babysitting another person's child I feel it was necessary to have. And I have to say that this system has exceeded my expectations especially for the cost. I've waited two months to review this system.Pros - light weight, clear screen, long range (can even be across the street in neighbor's backyard), 2-way talk feature, scan feature between the two rooms, price, additional cameras can be added, easy to set upCons - the lowest sound setting is still pretty noisy since we have a sound machine in their rooms, but honestly this is it.Very pleasantly happy with this purchase and system....for now....I hope it lasts longer than my previous two. Which were not the same brand.

Great night vision picture, even better price!
I'm super impressed with this baby monitor for the price. The night vision has a crystal clear picture. Sound is good.Pros:- PRICE!!!- Excellent night vision picture- Easy set up (literally plug in and your good!)- sound good- Eco mode shuts off screen when room is quiet for 30+ seconds- room temp displayed on monitor- excellent battery life on receiver- two way talk- ability to add more cameras (and for cheap!)Cons- no tilt or zoom- seems to get interference sometimes or lose signal (though quickly regains it)- eco mode is super sensitive to sound, we have a white noise machine running in the toddler's room and the eco mode never kicks in because of the noiseWe're getting another camera for when the baby arrives but I would recommend this one for the price alone. Aside from the inability to pan/zoom, it does most of the things the other big name baby monitors do. In fact, the night vision picture seems to be more clear than some of the big name cameras!

Just decent- wouldn’t buy again but isn’t horrible
We’ve had this for over a year now. Overall, just decent for price. Has a great battery life and good picture quality. Temperature gauge is not accurate on mine and it’s a much closer picture than my previous monitor (we had a previous monitor mounted on the wall and when we replaced it with this one you can’t see the whole crib now). Has zoom feature. The color is kind of a joke though. If the room is even partly dim (which is all the times baby is sleeping) it switches to night mode and goes to black and white. The screen on mine also flashes a lot (as if it’s trying to focus or something). It does what I need it to do but this is not our first monitor (we’ve had two others for another child) so we have others to compare it to and we can definitely tell it’s not as good of quality.Updated January 2020: monitor did not last 2 years. The cord ended up splitting and something happened where the monitor itself stopped working. Again, wouldn’t recommend.

Charger outweighs camera and monitor
The picture quality is good, but the charger cord weighs more than the camera causing it to not stay put when on the wall. Same problem for the charger and the monitor; it falls over. Will be returning.

mostly B&W, loud connection lost alert
Response to sound is very good (sensitive), and I appreciate the Eco mode.I rarely receive a color reading on the screen, even during daytime with the blinds open and the lights on in the nursery. The monitor really only shows readings in black and white. Our home is a bit on the dark side but this seems sort of crazy to me.Biggest complaint is that occasionally the connection is lost between the nursery and my bedroom next door. The monitor will beep rather loudly periodically until the connection is made again. Hugely frustrating to be awoken by that noise and I don't think there's a way to mute just that feature. Major design flaw since sleep is so precious to parents with babies!I also wish that there was an additional volume option between the lowest setting and mute. I'm a light sleeper and only need to be wakened by my son in true distress rather than during his midnight sleep-babble. :) It would also be handy if there was a separate light on the monitor body itself (rather than the screen, which goes dark) indicating when muted. I've accidentally left it on mute overnight...true guilt the next morning.
