OEM push rod set
It is original Briggs & Stratton rod set. You can't go wrong with the original product. Worked great. I recommend going to B&S website and download the parts manual for your engine, it will make your search a lot quicker and easier.

Perfect fit.
Rods were a perfect fit.Super simple to replace. The engine I was working on was a 21HP Briggs, and it took a total of about 5 minutes, including resetting the valve lash.Uppn inspection, the exhaust rocker stud was backing out, and the aluminum rod was bent so bad the intake valve wouldn't even open. There was so much clearance on the exhaust valve rocker, the cap on the valve stem had fallen off and was sitting in the bottom on the intake! The process for replacement was simple. I removed both rockers and studs, 1 at a time so they didn't get mixed up, and applied thread lock to make sure neither one backs out again. Reinstalled the studs to torque specs, followed by new pushrods and the rocker arms.Set piston to TDC, adjusted the valve lash to what Briggs and Stratton recommends, torqued the locks to 60 in. pounds, reinstalled the valve cover with the recommended gasket maker RTV, and let it set up for a few hours. After starting and running the engine, I can't believe how much quieter it is, even at WOT! I guess between wear on the ends of the rods over the years, and the exhaust stud backing out it just got louder and louder over time. Checking that valve lash is something that I'll do every other year because I didn't realize how big of a difference it would make.

Aluminum isn't good for pushrods
Over time the aluminum pushrods love to break. Replace it with the metal one. Watch alot of YouTube videos. Complicated scale of about a 6 out of 10.

Fit my Troy Bilt Pony 17.5hp
For some reason the exhaust pushrod broke in half last time I mowed. These were a direct replacement for my Troy Bilt Pony with the 17.5hp Briggs engine. Runs great now
