This item is much smaller than anticipated and is quite flimsy, Obviously my interpretation thick hair is not the same as this seller.

One star because it looks nice
It quit holding my hair in place after the third day.My hair is very fine. I really liked it when it worked.It kept popping open and falling out of my hair.. Very disappointed. I would've highly recommended it if it kept working.

Great for thick or curly hair
I have many Parcelona no-metal barrettes and this one is the best shape for a single low ponytail for my hair. It holds all of my hair gently and is really comfortable all day. I have very thick hair with some wave. This barrette would slide out if you have fine straight hair.

Looks very nice, hold is questionable
I bought this barrette since my hair is hard to hold and as I have chronic pain, having a gentle clip is important. It's gentle, and it's nice looking, but the holding ability is questionable. I have tried using it in a few different ways but it didn't hold very well. Will try a few more times over a few days.

Great for thick hair
I love this product. It is one of the few pony tail holders than holds my thick hair in place without pulling out my hair.
