Mower Runs Like New on the First Pull!
Installation for my Craftsman Mower Model Number 917.374541 (Engine is Briggs and Stratton 128T02-1270-B1). The price and convenience is right for me compared to trying to deep clean or rebuild the original. It was a very simple job that took 20 minutes including replacing Air Filter and some cleaning of the area. The kit came with Gasket and O-Ring which we used. It also came with replacement fuel line, clamps, springs, and fuel filter which we did not need. It appeared that the Springs would fit if needed; it is nice to have those in case the originals break. Tools used: Open Ended wrenches (including a small 1/4 inch one) and small sockets. You could possibly do it using Pliers with patience and care not to round-off the bolt heads. But at least sockets are needed for the bolts the secure the Carb to the Engine. Do pay careful attention to the Throttle and Choke Spring linkages: They are not hard to get off/on but they need care. I took a few photos of the original Carb setup first in case I went all dear-in-the-headlights during reassembly. The mower started literally on the first pull (though we also replaced the Spark Plug and used fresh gas). If this Carb fails within the next few years, I will update this review. But we are very happy at this point! Good luck! UPDATE 6 JUN 2021: Two things: This is the second season with the first installed replacement Carb and it is still running like new (installed in June 2020). I use fuel stabilizer over the winter and fresh gas now in the spring. And based on my luck the first time, I just bought another one. This time for my Dad's Craftsman Mower 917.370770 (Engine is Briggs and Stratton 126T05-1070-B1). The kit came with a fuel filter (which I didn't use) and some fuel line (which I did use because the original on this second mower was cracked and rotting). The only reason I didn't add in the filter was because there are only 2 hose clamps with the kit (and the new tube OD is smaller than the original, so I couldn't reuse those with the new tubing) and those 2 supplied went to the fuel tank end and the Carb end. The only thing that was a little off is that the spring for the governor linkage that is supplied with the kit seems just a little stiffer, and that is causing the mower to run faster than it used to. I will probably be able to adjust-in the speed; and if not I will reinstall the original spring. If need be, I would buy this a 3d time without hesitation!

Easy install, worked on first pull, MUCH EASIER than cleaning/rehabbing old carb!
Took less than 15 minutes to install. Hardest part was clamping the gas hose to keep tank from draining while I worked. LOL. Parts fit perfectly, including the 2 pairs of carburetor springs thoughtfully included in the kit. 725ex Briggs mower motor started up on first pull after install. Ran it for 30 minutes mulching leaves on lawn. No coughs, burps or RPM changes even when engaging/disengaging the powered wheel drive. Nice touches included in kit: O ring and fiber gasket for carb (and they actually fit) 2 pairs of new springs (wouldn't have expected a spare pair) fuel filter and clamps adequate (slightly longer than necessary) piece of fuel hose. Outer diameter of hose slightly smaller than original hose. Old clamps were too big, but kit-included new clamps fit new hose perfectly). All in all, totally satisfied with this kit. And at this price, I doubt I'll ever want to remove and clean an old carburetor for this mower again. Strongly recommend it, if you have the Briggs 725 EX motor. MAKE SURE you do NOT have the 725 EXI motor which requires a completely different carburetor style which does not fit the 725EX motor. If you look closely at the Amazon pictures you will easily see if it matches your current carb.

Great fit, solid build, works on Craftsman engine
Bolted right up to the existing mount points on my lawn mower. Carb seems like decent quality, and solid construction. No leaks after installing and running the engine. Engine ran fine with a few small tweaks to the air fuel ratio screw. Great price. We'll see how it holds up over the next year. But for now I am happy with the purchase.

Simple bolt on, works great for about a year.
One year review: Simple bolt on, worked great for the first year but then stopped working. I ordered another to replace this one. Hopefully this one last for more than a year. I mow weekly, about 5k square feet of grass between the front and back yard.

Excellent, Engine Started right up, No Hesistation.
Installed on a Husqvarna lawnmower with Briggs & Stratton Engine 128M02-0120-F1 190cc, 6.5 HP. It started right up, no hesitation. Impressed and satisfied. The fuel rubber hose is of a smaller Outer Dimension and softer rubber so I did not use it, but kept it in case I need it later. Now we will see if the performance will stand the test of time.

Great replacement carb for my B&S 725EX.
I have a Troybuilt lawnmower that has a Briggs & Stratton 725EX motor and I accidentally left gas in it too long. I was looking for a gasket kit so I could clean the carb, when I found this replacement carb for under $20 US. The carb comes with replacement springs, fuel lines, and clamps. It was a perfect fit and bolted on easily. I think the mower actually runs a bit better with this replacement than it did with the OEM carburetor (I always felt it ran just a bit rich...and always assumed it was my higher altitude - 5K msl). Very pleased with this carb kit and the mower runs like new again.

Great carb, and if it don’t fix ur problem u need a new mower!
Have had my fathers old as heck Troy BILT lawn mower for about 5 years, since he passed. It’s never ran right or, when it did run was hard to start. So it had set in my shed unused for all that time. I was going to chunk it but thought I’d give an inexpensive carburetor from Amazon a shot. It was easy to install and only took a half hour. This mower now runs like it’s new. Got myself some sharp new blades and went to town on my yard. I’ve had this carb on the lawn mower for about a month and have mowed my yard three times since. I live on a quarter acre so the mower really get some use. I’m happy and hope it lasts.

Replaced the old one and work really well with no issue. Comes with all the parts needed. I would suggest reinstalling the old gaskets if they are still in a good shape. Highly recommended.

Buen producto pero falta de control en el embarque. El filtro incluido no trae el componente de filtraje. Esta vacío en su interior.

Does what it should, same proformance of the OEM carb. hoses, clamps not as good but are certainly better than the ones you are changing if you're doing a carb replacement. Easy all in one kit. If you want to do a full maintnance grab one with the air filter. Take pictures of the original set-up before and as you dismantle. will help greatly as you install the new carb.

My mower of 13 years had issues , I brought it into a small engine shop to get it checked out. Told me the Carb was shot and needed a new one. Asked 225 for the repair. EEEK. Got this for a great price and saved mucho $$$$ Works great now. No issues so far, I will be happy if it last even 5 years. Only reason it gave it 4 stars is that the plastic parts and super flimsy so careful but hey for this price not complaining.
