Accurate, Easy to Use, and Super Handy
I bought this watt meter plug to monitor my appliances’ real power consumption and it does the job perfectly. Setup was super simple: just plug it in, reset it, and it instantly shows voltage, wattage, and kilowatt-hour readings on a clear blue backlit screen. The display is bright and easy to read even in dim lighting. What I really like is how responsive it is it updates power usage in real-time and helps me see which devices are draining energy. The buttons feel sturdy, and it even calculates cost per kWh, which is great for tracking electric bills. If you’re into saving energy or just want to know what’s eating up your power, this little gadget is worth it. Works right out of the box no Wi-Fi, no app hassle, just plug and play.

Very good, simple to use equipment to determine electrial loads
I used this Watt Meter to determine loads for a generator, plugging it in between a generator and couple of space heaters to determine wattage and loads. There are several settings to choose and it worked perfectly. The blue-lit LCD is large and easy to read under all light conditions. It can be easily used to determine the real wattage any appliance is using. Simple, efficient, and fairly well priced.

good, but hard-to-read display.
That kind of sums it up. I only really need ballpark figures for power consumption, so this doesn't need to be NIST certified or anything, and if I use the same meter for different devices, "inconsistencies" will be consistent. Ie, it won't be one doodad reading high and another doodad reading low, they'll either be reading both high or both low and *relative* usage will be consistent. I hate blue backlights. They're the absolute *WORST* for visibility (the eye has its hardest time focusing on blue), yet everybody and his grandmother uses that. Little plug-in "nightlight" voltage meters have blue, and they're horrid despite being useful Red, orange, white, fine, but blue is the worst. That said, being that I'm using it "currently" (haha) on my fridge, where the outlet is barely 6" off the floor, touching a button and kicking on the backlight completely washes out the display to invisibility. I have to wait for it to time out and stop glowing, then use a separate flashlight at floor-level to see the numbers. LCDs are either "top viewable" (eg, a panel display, where you're usually above it looking down at the display when it's vertical) or "bottom viewable" (eg, a calculator-type display where you're viewing it from below the display when it's horizontal). Try it! If the meter is above your head or somewhat head-on, you can see it fine, but if it's below you and you're looking at it from above, forget it. And I reeeeeally don't want to lie flat on the floor just to read the meter. That said, it seems pretty solidly made, has good button-feel, and while I haven't tested for absolute accuracy, again, I'm really only looking for ballpark figures to guesstimate how much each appliance draws in, say, a month's time. I might use a power-strip or something to line up a few meters and see how accurate they might be with a fixed load, but that's for later, not now.

Good meter
I can't attest for the accuracy as I don't have the equipment to do that. Otherwise, It's a nice device, works as expected, has enough functions. What I needed was a Kilowatt-hour (energy) probe so I could identify what device is hogging my energy bill. I managed to do that so I'm happy with the product.

Works well, can save electricity
Good price, works as advertised. Was able to find an appliance that was using a lot of electric when in standby mode.

Exactly as advertised
Works exactly as advertised. Easy to use and read. Light doesn't stay on long and doesn't have a button to turn it on.

This power meter is advertised as having a backlight. Something that I noted when making my original purchase. Unfortunately this was misleading and the unit does not have a backlight at all. So, be sure to place it in a very bright room. My Klein Tools multimeter has my voltage when everything is running at exactly 119V. This meter has it at 122V. I dug up an old oscilloscope and confirmed it was in fact exactly 119V. This power meter is inaccurate and lacks a backlight as advertised. A waste of time and money. Instant return.
