Works Great
I bought a Grex airbrush and compressor almost 20 years ago. The old one definitely needs service. But the new one I just got is even better than the first. It was easy for me to put the new one together and get right to work using it. Thumbs up all around.

Up and Running in Minutes.
Easy to set up and super quiet. The instruction manual is straightforward with a good diagram on how dual action brushes work as well as how to choose the right amount of air pressure. The quick detach connector and brush stand are fantastic.Minor Issues:*After using it a few times, with thicker paints, I do wish that the kit had come with cleaning brushes, but that isn't included with similarly priced products so no points taken off the overall rating.*I don't particularly understand why there are suction cups instead of hard rubber pieces on the supports.*Could use an extra 4 feet of power cord to reach my outlet, but nothing my extension cable can't solve.Overall: Great value for a competitive price.

Great airbrush Combo
This is my 1st airbrush. Did ton of research, figure this compressor and airbrush combo was the best choice. Grex as a wealth of online video instructions. Done two jobs painting RC truck bodies, very pleased with results.

The unit was very easy to get up and going and the compressor is ...
The kit I received was well packed and was delivered very quick. The unit was very easy to get up and going and the compressor is very quiet. The hand held airbrush takes a little bit of getting used to but it is comfortable and does spray very consistent and is very easy to operate. I am a first time airbrush user and will be using this in my shop for mainly hobby stuff. The first kit I received had a defective compressor right out of the box. Defective air pressure gauge. I called Grex and after a lengthy discussion and some over the phone testing of the unit it was determined that the compressor would need to be returned to Grex for repair or replacement. Grex said t would take 7-10 days to ship, test and repair or replace unit. Grex said it would be much quicker to just return unit to Amazon which I did. I had a new replacement unit 2 days later. New unit is working good but I was left a bit skeptical about the Grex support of the products they sell.

Happy customer
After some research I decided on the Grex. I am glad I bought this one. I really like the fact that you can get different size nozzle and needle sets for different applications.

Just like anything, I understand things break down
I'm an avid scale modeler. I bought this in April 2011 and have been using it very often. I average about 40-50 1/72 scale models a year so my Grex has had it's fair share of use. I've gone through 3 3mm nozzles and just recently, a pressure switch malfunction on my compressor. Just like anything, I understand things break down. However, the nozzle tends to crack if you push the needle too far and this is the reason why I have gone through 3 nozzles. So be careful not to push it in too far after cleaning the needle.
