You don't just strategize on what you will do, you also strategize on what the AI will do!
My favorite AI are the ones in Gaia Project and Viscounts of the West Kingdom, because they simulate human players really well. They were my favorite until I played Concordia: Solitaria!Pros- The best thing about this AI is that you don't just strategize over what you do, you also strategize on what the AI will do! Unlike other AIs where you are drawing cards to know what the AI will do per turn, here there is no such luck, because what the AI will do is based on what you will do. The card that you will play will not only tell what you will do but also what the AI will do. And it is not implemented by endless flowcharts! So, if the AI did something powerful, you can't anymore blame luck, you an only blame yourself you made that happen! :)- The AI is so simple to control. You'd only spend from 2 to 10 seconds moving its turn.- It's so competitive. The AI is so brilliantly implemented that it's scary already as it feels like a human countering your moves! So many times I felt like doing actions A and then B, then while doing action A, the AI will do something that indirectly impacts my action B. The designer knows that if you perform a certain action A, it is usually followed by action B, thus the AI's move after you perform action A is something that will indirectly impact action B, and it is so brilliant and annoying at the same time!- The game plays fast. A few turns in and you can already see that the end of the game is near.- The designer really took time and care for this expansion. They didn't just create a solo mode, they also created a cooperative mode against the AI! And also a competitive mode against the AI.Cons- Not actually a negative about the game, but the releases of Concordia. A lot of games are unplayed just for not having a solo mode. If you were gonna ask me, I'd prefer Concordia: Solitaria (transforms the game from 2-5 players to 1-5) being the one integrated to the base game instead of Concordia Venus (transforms the game from 2-5 players to 2-6). I think (I have no data though) the impact of making it 1-5 players vs 2-6 players is that it could see the table more often because it would be easier to get played as it doesn't need other players.- To be honest, I can't think of any negatives for this expansion. I have some for the base game such as the unnecessary tall box caused by the unnecessary tall map. But for this expansion, it is perfect!

Great opponent! Easy to run bot!
Great addition to the Concordia line! The bot is easy to run and doesn't take much time each turn. Great for playing solo.

I’m happy with my purchase and the cards are very nice! I love my games and their art. I hate a damaged box. That is what I received. Sad.

The dice make this a must own
Yes there is a concordia app and I do own it but getting the physical game to the table is a whole other ball game I think it’s worth having both and this expansion with the dice bot is magnificent.

Easy to Play Solitaire
Concordia is one of my favorite games (of over 400 I currently own).But I could never play it solitaire / until now! And it works great. Simple to learn, and challenging to play. Highly recommended as a Solitaire game that satisfies!
