Thought this would be a great lightweight blanket.Loved it ... until I washed it ... it went from a soft comfy king size blanket to a crunchy barely-fit-over-the-edge-of-the-bed blanket.I followed the instructions on the tag to the letter. Washed separately in cold and tumbled on lowest dryer setting. There was so much fuzz/lint coming off of the blanket that my high-tech dryer alerted me FOUR times that the lint trap was full and preventing air flow - great that it has an alarm and shuts off - could be a fire hazard otherwise.If I’d read the tag before using (who does that?) I would have returned it because it states that the blanket may shrink ... no “may” about it. It shrunk so much I thought I was putting it on the wrong direction - but nope the other direction didn’t even make it to the edge.Complete waste of money.

This blanket was just what I was looking for, soft, 100% cotton, warm but not too warm. Then I washed it.I bought a queen size blanket for a queen size bed. When I took the blanket out of the dryer there was cotton fluff everywhere. All over the sheets I washed and so bad it clogged the lint filter in the dryer. But putting all that aside, when I put the blanket on the bed it barely covers the sides so forget about tucking it in (I only have a 12" mattress and if lucky there was 2" of blanket on each side). Also I have to pull the blanket down about 12" at the top of the bed because it isn't long enough to tuck in at the foot of the bed either.So if you really want this blanket buy one that is at least one size bigger than your bed. And keep your fingers crossed that will work!

Love the item, but.... it almost filled a shopping bag full of 'lint' in the dryer. You may want to ck it every 10 minutes to clean your lint trap. Also, it does shrink like they tell ya, I just didn't know how much until I did! If you want a throw, get a twin, if you want a twin, get a queen. I bought the Coral color and it's pretty. When centered on the twin bed, I have 3" of hang over and you can't tuck the bottom or it's way too short. Light weight which I wanted. It should soften up nicely after a few washes.

A little torn on this review because I like the weight and the softness of the blanket. However, as soon as I opened the package I saw a snag. I washed on gentle cycle in cold water and dried on low. It did shrink and there were several snags after I washed it. I do not feel like this should be happening with a brand new blanket.

I'm very happy with this as a lightweight blanket. I like the cotton material and feel.As others said, it shrinks a lot so I ordered a King size to fit on a Queen bed and it was perfect . It also sheds a lot of lint in the first washings, but I was expecting that.It is a bit rough feeling initially, but like blue jeans, softens with use and each wash. I washed before using as recommended and one time since, and it is fairly soft now. Each time, I tumbled it extra in the dryer no heat and that seemed to also help make it softer.

I gave this item a -5- because it is exactly what I wanted for a summer weight blanket. The color was accurately represented and having purchased quite a few cotton thermal blankets it is what I expected. On the downside, though, I ordered a king size for our queen size bed based on reviews stating shrinkage issues. I know first hand these blankets can shrink as I had a guest in our guesthouse who washed our king size blanket in HOT water and dried on HOT heat....needless to say it shrank !!!!The king size fit our queen size bed perfectly (we have a deep mattress). I am laundering before using as it had a bit of fabric chemical smell. I currently have it in the dryer on delicate after washing it in cold water. I am anticipating some shrinkage. ~ Unless I do a correction update, I am assuming this blanket will fit just fine once out of the dryer! I will be purchasing another one in the near future as I need one for our king size guest bed!

Loved the color and the price. Unfortunately, it just doesn't hold up to washing. My family member has sensitive skin, so we always wash new bedding before using it. The photos show what happened after the first wash. The washing machine and everything in it was COVERED with yellow fibers. I tossed everything in the dryer to get the fibers off and I probably could have started a throw pillow with the amount of lint from the blanket. It also shrunk. Since it's for a hospital bed, the shrinkage wasn't as big a deal, but I've washed the blanket again since that first time (again, on the recommended settings) and I got another washer full of lint. At this rate, there won't be any blanket left. Returning.

Was hesitant to order because I was nervous it would be too thin, and poor quality. Exact opposite. It's not super light that you can see through it, and not too thick either. No problems at all with washing and drying. Looks and feels great. Not super soft, but didn't want it to be. Ordered 4 more for the rest of the beds in my house. Highly recommend.

I use this over the foot of the bed and I fold it over. It's warm when it's doubled. The waffle is bigger so it has a lot of texture. Felt like there was a chemical softener on it - so definitely wash it before using.

Realmente linda fresca yo vivo en un zona calurosa, pero cometí el error de ponerla a lavar y le dejé caer jabón líquido directamente y se decoloro yo uso el persil, admito fue mi error volveré a comprar mas

El color es justo el que quería, la textura es muy buena porque no es muy delgada pero sí transpirable como se ofrece, lo mejor es que es algodón. El tamaño quedo muy bien a mi cama tamaño Queen. La uso como colcha y también funciona como cobertor sin ser calurosa. Lo único malo es que es tan linda la textura que mis gatitas han comenzado a hacer de las suyas! Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Arrivée en avance. Acheté de grandeur queen et de couleur grise. Un peu déçue car c'est plutôt couleur beige/gris. J'ai un lit double et cette couverture va parfaitement dessus, cependant un peu juste pour la longueur. Le coton est tissé serré et un peu rugeux pour du 100% coton malgré les lavages et l'assouplisseur. Bref, ce n'est pas un coup de coeur mais elle fait la job.

Loved this blanket used it as a couch blanket. Last night while smoking I lost a small spark.... never knew cotton catches on fire..... Buyer beware not flame resistant 12-14inch holes in 1sec Easy to extinguish but unsafe regardless blanket is not garbage
