Best Salt Gun
Of all the items sold, for me this is the best! I have two rifles but the Shreder is absolutely outstanding! It has so mucl power and yes it will kill a cockroach. I'm in my mid-60s and we have large 100% organic chickens a large coop and runs. We let the girls free range daily and they leave poop on the way z a great way to feed them aswell. This is the most powerful and fun salt gun! The power, wow, it z girls will stop and. Ear as many as they can find on the way home..this gun is more fun and definitely more powerful. (I can shoot a swarm of flies on a piece on a piece of crap) From a distance and get them its so powerful. Other brands are out there, but these two guys are a smaller startup company with great reviews. Its more expensive the the rifles, but I love the pistol, its hard to miss, Pest control:No problems indoors, impossible to miss!!Why did you pick this product vs others?:Reliability, reviews, word of mouth

Say hello to my little friend
I had the original pump action salt gun and was able to exterminate a lot of lantern flies. After a few years it was in need of replacement and saw this bad boy and had to have it. I love it. More power and more fun. Easily takes out hornets and carpenter bees with a single shot. Worth the price

The only bug-a-salt that works
This revolver bug-a-salt has the range and energy to eliminate the pest from across the room while lightly salting your food. This is the only one worth purchasing. The bug-a-salt rifles are weak and essentially useless

Better then it's smaller brother
This is truly the best thing for having a bug free life. I do have the pump action one from the same company, but it has its limitations to small bugs only. This thing on the other hand is a beast. I have been using it for lantern flys and they are sneaky little things. They see you, they move around the branch and if u try to kill them by hand they jump. Hard to kill something that sneaky. With this beast they dont even have a chance to move or jump. It's, boom and ethernal sleep is the result for those things. This thing will also kill large bugs too, like cahroaches who have thick outer shells. If you are sensitive to things getting dismembered this is not the product for you. Only con I have for this beast and savior is that either the salt or the gas rusts down the internal metal components and had to disassemble and clean it twice now. It is expensive for a bug gun but I realized that it's exactly the same as my crossman ccp8b2 and a lot less expensive. I can still use the salt cartridges from this company with no issues with the corssman. If you live in the city like i do, get this bug gun vs the crossman, only because you dont want people calling the police on you for firing a gun in the back yard because they dont know what it is. This gun is yellow and the crossman is black and looks like a real gun from far away. There is no other product like this. Ps it is great for those pesky big house flys, no more ruined newspapers.

Careful not to blow entire co2 cartridges during installation!
The very first canister, I inserted straight out of the box. It did not make a hissing sound when I pierced it, but it fired one round. Then it wouldn’t fire anymore. I unscrewed the canister a little bit, and all of the CO2 blew out wasting the entire canister. I’ve now installed the second canister. It did have a his when I started tightening it. I tried a little more in this pissing stopped, and it has been firing. But I sure hope what happened with the first canister doesn’t happen again or a waste of the first canister when they only send you five.UPDATE: SECOND CANISTER QUIT AFTER 2 SHOTS! I loosened it a bit and co2 comes out, so it’s still in there, but it won’t fire. This is $100 junk.

Good quality and Fun to use
This was a Father’s Day gift and he loved it. Good power but won’t damage the home when blasting bugs. My 6 year old son enjoyed shooting a plastic cup with it. Fun and easy to use.

NOVELTY, NOT A PEST SOLUTION.
If you understand this is purely a novelty that is good for occasional pest elimination then this is awesome. If you are expecting a solution to an infestation this is not it. When you first use this it's pretty satisfying to line up a large bug and blast to kingdom come. The effective range declines as the compressed air canister get used. For carpenter bees you need to hit them dead-on to kill them from 3 feet or less to start, and from 2 feet after the first 2 or 3 rings of ammo. After 4-5 rings there isn't enough force to do the job, a new air canister is needed. The kit comes with 5 and each ammo ring has 10 shots, so you've got enough for air in the initial package for 200+ shots. The fall-off in performance to reach 200+ shots is why this gets 4 instead of 5. I think I'd prefer a BB-gun style pump it up for air pressure instead of the air canisters. I understand why they didn't do it that way but i'd still prefer it.

Expensive toy, but totally worth it!
So it's obviously a fun toy to kill flies. I had the original little rifle, and that's exactly what that was. This is a HUGE upgrade. It's not a toy, and it's super powerful. It's not going to break a window or anything, but I would imagine it hurts if you suck at muzzle awareness. The original sometimes didn't kill the fly in one hit, but this one pins their carcass to a wall. One shot, one kill. I haven't tried to shoot anything bigger than a housefly yet, but I'd bet money it would easily take out a horse fly, or maybe even a wasp. I'm super impressed, it's SOO much fun, and totally worth the money. I really thought it was going to be a "buyer's remorse" situation, but, not only do I not regret it, but I get genuinely excited when I see a stupid, unsuspecting fly in my house. Also, they sell a laser sight that mounts to the barrel for $15. Buy it now, it's awesome!
