Time release makes a huge difference! Where has this product been all my life? I've long been in the habit of taking a 100 mg caffeine tablet in the morning. (On mornings when I can have a nice strong cup of coffee, I might skip it.) caffeine is not only an energy booster, but it's also a well-known noötropic. These time release caffeine pills (167 mg each) really do seem to keep releasing all day long. I'm now in the habit of taking to first thing in the morning (again, if I start off with a strong cup of coffee, I might only take one in the morning). This means I am slowly releasing just over 300 mg of caffeine slowly over the course of the day. The big difference I have noticed is that there is no postprandial "siesta time" drop in my energy level after lunch. This product has greatly enhanced my daily functioning. So much better than a morning instant release caffeine tablet. I should note that I have no trouble falling asleep at night if I take two of these in the morning. Because these are slow release, I probably would not take them after noon or so.

This stuff is amazing and REALLY works. I have tried other time release caffeine from Amazon and nothing else even comes close. You can feel this working, it’s a slow, steady release. I take caffeine pills frequently but since I started using this particular product, I actually take LESS caffeine overall now as just one of these pills really lasts and does the trick. LOVE!

If I don’t have time to drink coffee in morning, I just take one capsule of this caffeine and it will immediately keep me energetic. update：I think it is not suitable for long-term use. In the long run, I should choose natural coffee.

To rate this product, I feel I should give a little bit of my back story. I am a middle aged woman and I suffer from a debilitating disease that causes extreme fatigue. I also suffer from extreme, chronic gastricintestinal reflux disorder. Due to extreme GERD, I had to have a Gastric Bypass. I was hesitant at first to try these given the bypass, but we were getting ready to move to a different city and I couldn’t afford to be sleepy all day. I was afraid I might injure myself by being so fatigued. My son offered me one of his time release caffeine pills. I normally don’t take any caffeine or drink much caffeine because it gives me the jitters, especially now that I’ve had the bypass. That being said, I figured it was no different than just having one cup of coffee or tea, so I would just work my way past the jitters. But I was wrong. It was different. It was WAY BETTER than a cup of coffee. I didn’t experience any of the usual coffee type jitters. I didn’t have reflux issues from it. It lasted a good 5-6 hours and there was no post caffeine crash. There is just the right amount of caffeine for me, not too much or too little. And the time release worked great, even with the gastric bypass. I think they’re great!

Not for everyone. I experienced a sudden rush for the first hour with my heart pounding faster and I was feeling jittery. I thought I would get a heart attack. After an hour I crashed and was feeling sleepy and drousy like I never did before and it was 9 in the morning with my work time ruined. It is not time released as they promised as it was all released instantly. Waste of $19 and time. UPDATE: I tried with other remaining tablets and got the same results. I believe there's a manufacturing defect with the capsule shell as it gets disolved easily. The entire barch should be recalled by the manufacturer.
