Contoured, flexible support. Walkers, runners and runners looking for extra comfort and cushioning. Consumers who want targeted shock absorption for rear foot impact. Spenco Polysorb Walker/Runner, Men 12 13 Review: I own two pair of these. One pair for my work boots (12 hour factory shifts) and the other pair in my running shoes. These things really help eliminate the foot pain that comes from shock or from being on my feet for too long. They are a vast improvement over the old "green" walker/runner. This cradles my foot and gives me lots of support and cushioning. With a better platform to stand on I actually feel better overall. It's like an infusion of new life into my feet. (A very small but noticeable effect). I am over 50 so I need every bit of help I can get. My feet are also less tired and there is a minor reduction in knee pain. These things are thick. The heel is 7.5mm [0.30"] and the forefoot is 6.8mm [0.27"]. That is only a heel to toe drop of about 1mm, which I like. I think most people will have trouble getting a good fit in their shoes because it takes up so much space. I have no trouble with my work boots but my Asics are a tight fit and I have to wear thinner socks. My foot is fairly thin with a medium low arch. I also have a new pair of the Spenco Cross Trainer. The Cross Trainer has a very tall and narrow heel that makes the whole shoe unstable. Very easy to turn your ankle with that insert. (which I did) The heel is a full 13.21mm [1/2"] tall and the forefoot is 5.5mm [1/4"]. Too much heel to toe drop in the cross trainer for me. The Walker Runner is much more comfortable and stable to use. This is my tenth year using Spenco inserts and I like these the best by far. Oct. 2015 I am on my 3rd pair of these and I still love them. In my work boots their estimated life is about a year. They are so thick that they take up all the head room in the toe box of all my other shoes. So much so that I only use them for the work boots. Review: The Spenco Polysorb Walker/Runner insoles have helped eliminate the aches and pains I normally experience after a long run. They fit my running shoes perfectly and absorb a lot of the shock associated with running. I am a heavier runner (187 lbs), so the shock tends to be greater. I have not had any pain anywhere in my feet since I started using them, and I also have less muscle fatigue. I was also having some difficulties with calf muscles in my left leg. I can't say for sure that the insoles helped with that, but I can say that I am no longer having that problem since shortly after I started using them. After purchasing the first pair, I have purchased another pair because I alternate running shoes each day. I have not tried any other insoles, except the ones that come with my high quality running shoes. Therefore I cannot say they are superior to other insoles, such as Dr. Scholls, but I can say they have fully met my hopes and expectations and I fully recommend them to others.

I purchased these for my husband, and I decided on these because of the reviews on Amazon, so if you think it unimportant to review items purchased, please think again. I have spent a lot of money on insoles for him, and these are actually on the lower end in price, but definitely not on quality! He wears a shoe size of 12, and these are for men's 12-13, so I thought he would have to trim them. He put them in his work shoes and seemed to fit perfectly, however he had a blister on his toe after he first wore them, so we did trim them some and he's had no more blisters. He says his feet have not felt better in years. They have also helped with his lower back pain due to improved posture, as he doesn't walk hunched over because of foot pain. Also they are lasting a long time! Buy them

The Spenco Polysorb Walker/Runner Athletic Insole fits my Merrill Moab 2 boots, but didn't feel right in my new Moab 3s.
