I absolutely love Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream! It’s rich and hydrating without feeling heavy, and my skin just drinks it up. I have extremely sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts. After trying every possible mainstream recommendation I stumbled onto this brand and lucked out with a free sample (not through Amazon). This moisturizer absorbs quickly and feels like there’s nothing even on your skin. My dry skin is GONE. No clogged pores. And my skin feels BRAND NEW.

And it works better for me by itself vs. with a serum. I bought it after seeing the founder's gorgeous skin in a video ad and hearing her description that it helped combat redness. I am in my late 40s, and I expected that this would just be another product in the line of various serums and creams that I have tried to combat fine lines as well as reduce redness from keratosis pilaris and a very mild case of rosacea. I was astonished to find that this product does everything it claims.When I first started using it, I was still using a serum with it, and it was just ok. The smell was also different, though it didn't trigger my extreme sensitivity to fragrances. Then I forgot my serum on vacation and had to apply the cream by itself, and that is when the magic started to happen. My skin tone was visibly more even with less redness, it looked more plump, and fine lines really did start to soften. I've kept applying it alone so it can absorb better, and I absolutely love the look and feel of my skin now. It is actually controlling and keeping the KP at bay, and when I wear makeup, it goes on beautifully. It's like I took 5-10 years off my face, and I really do see that proverbial glow. The scent has grown on me, and I even started applying a little to the backs of my hands at night and am seeing positive changes. I am so glad that I found this product!

I am often skeptical of skin care products because I often feel I use them for a few months but never entirely feel I see any real change or improvement in my skin. Little did I think I would feel so positively about a more natural product for my skin. I have very sensitive skin in part to genetics but also since I’m on long-term steroids as part of immune suppression I take for 2 kidney transplants over the past 15 years. I often will use a lighter weight moisturizer during the day to keep from feeling too oily but I do use Tretinoin for skin care under the guidance of my dermatologist for a few skin conditions I have. This also leaves my skin more sensitive, thereby I like to use a thicker, more rich cream moisturizer at night. I have religiously used CeraVe Moisturizing Cream nightly (I still do!) but have started alternating with that and this Ursa Major product. The scent isn’t offensive to me but it isn’t the best scent for my nose, but it’s not off putting to the point that I would stop using it or not recommend it. This product truly feels so rich and creamy. I love the feeling it has going on to my skin and, truth be told, I am so amazed at how well and how quickly it absorbs into my skin in light of the thickness of it. A small amount really goes a long way but my skin never feels irritated from this cream and my skin often feels so much more relaxed after putting it on before bed. I can’t say that I feel I’ve seen any significant difference in my skin yet (been using about 2 weeks now) but the feeling I have after using is enough to keep me as a loyal customer. I feel badly for those who have posted having irritation after using the product but I feel those review unjustly give this product a 1 star - not every skin product is going to agree with every single person and, yes, there will always be a percentage of individuals whom have negative reactions to this product or other skin care. Does that warrant a 1 star? To me, no. I recommend this product for how it makes me feel and how my skin feels after and will purchase again!

My face was freaking out from the winter this year. Breakouts, dry patches, I almost made an appt with a dermatologist because I didn’t know what was happening! I ordered this and after ONE DAY, my skin is better. The dry patches are gone, it feels super hydrated and the stuff smells really nice too. I scanned it on my Yuka app and it got a really high score, so that’s an added bonus. I love this cream, and I highly recommend it! My face is back to normal and looks flawless! Go and order this!!

Decent moisturizer, although the texture was a little lumpy, this smoothed out once it started melting into my skin. My main caution would be to be careful if you have sensitive skin. I was using this with some other skin products with active ingredients that can be somewhat irritating (vitamin C and retinol) and this moisturizer caused by skin to sting rather than feel cooled and calmed. I looked over the list of ingredients and am still not sure what the culprit was, but will likely not be using this in the future.

I really like this cream. I think after using this for a few months, my face seems much smoother and softer.

Hesitated purchasing because of the price but reviews were so good. A nice hydrating cream that absorbs nicely. Pleasant scent an added bonus.
