Known, consistent build quality.
Unlike other no name brands, the Fram are consistent in their cheapened quality lately. The American made ones in olden times had stiffer frames and better seals but what are you going to do other than buy a similarly mediocre product from the dealership for 5 times as much?

Great quality for the price
I've used it a few times in my Ford Taurus 2006. After many years I don't see any problem with it. Recommend it with my whole heart.

It works, and it fits!
