The image is clear, especially for the price, but the screen flashes white every now and then for no apparent reason, the two-way speaker does not work, and I did not realize that you could not control the camera from the monitor. It'll work for us because we couldn't spend much, but I am rather disappointed.

I have purchased SO MANY monitors, and this is the one we're keeping! We tried AngelCare, Summer Infant, and VTech monitors (multiple models), and the signal wouldn't quite reach from the nursery to our bedroom with any of them. This one not only reaches with a strong signal, but it even works on our patio outside! No bells and whistles like some of the others (no wide angle lens, picture quality isn't crystal clear), but it has everything that was important to me (temperature sensor, sound-activated mode, long range, talk feature). Added bonus - it's super lightweight and thin, so traveling with it will be so easy!Just don't use the "lullabies" - they're very creepy sounding! Haha.

At first I thought it was good. Just a few weeks after purchasing, the music won't work and it constantly loses connection. I paid $45 for another monitor with much better quality and will probably request a refund for this one. Today it wouldn't connect at all. It's really sad.

I love everything about this camera except one thing. I love being able to review my child in another room morning or night. My biggest reason why why I chose this monitor was because I didn't mean to connect too. The picture is very clear I love being able to talk my child from another room letting him know that I will be there soon period what I dislike is how my voice over the monitor. I kind of sound like a robot period it kind of has an echo and a small high pitch. Other than that, this camera is great.UPDATE!!I still love the quality of the camera. It is great. The echo from the mic still bothers me and I don't use it to talk to my little man at all. But what I've also discovered is you have to pair the camera every time you switch. Does that make sense?? you can have up to 4 cameras connected. but you can not switch between them at any given point without pushing the pair button on the back every time... That's such a bummer.

I have had the monitor for a little over a month and have had no issues. My last monitor was a Motorola mbp36 and gave out after 3 years. The Motorola was heavier and felt more durable, however it is also nice to have a lightweight monitor. The features have all worked well on the ANMEATE. I actually prefer the night vision on the ANMEATE as it's much clearer than it was on the Motorola. The two way talk and the zoom/pan feature seems equal on the two. I could move the actual camera angle via remote on the Motorola and I really miss that. Sometimes I put the camera at a bad angle and I get downstairs to the monitor just to realize I can't see the baby. Then I have to run back up and fix it instead of moving it with the remote. So that stinks, but now I try to angle the camera better the first time. My main reason for getting this monitor was the price. I could add more cameras for 40 instead of 100 a piece. Not to mention I got the first camera and parent unit for half the price of the Motorola.

The setup for this monitor was very easy. All we had to do was plug the camera in and turn on the receiver. The night vision quality is excellent. We have the camera about 6 feet above the crib as is recommended for the night vision. The picture is so good I can see my baby breathing if I watch closely. The microphone picks up even soft noises that my baby makes so that I don't have to have the volume up very high on the receiver. This has made the transition from moving her from a bassinet in my room to her crib easier. When I hear her make noises I check to see if she is making noises in her sleep or if she is actually awake before I get up. And when I wake up in the middle of the night I can see she is ok without getting up every hour to go check on her.I did notice while taking a picture of the receiver with my phone the signal to the receiver seemed to cut out. As long as the phone was more than 2 feet away from the reciever there was not a signal issue. Since I don't keep the phone and the receiver next to each other this is not a problem for me.Eventually I will buy additional cameras to be able to view more of the room. This was a great purchase and has given my husband and I peace of mind while our baby sleeps in her own room. I would highly recommend this camera to others. This is a great camera for the price.

Nice little monitor. Cuts out when the microwave is running or a phone is near it, but that's common with wireless models. The thing I don't like is that the speaker function on the camera is very poor quality. If you talk through it you end up sounding like a freaky robot monster. Not exactly what I'm going for when I'm trying to soothe my baby.

This unit started out great, now 2 months in and it barely connects to our high speed Wi-Fi. It will go out for several minutes at a time, so it's useless if you have a baby on the move in their crib. The screen freezes often. Waste of money.This unit cant be trusted to keep an eye on your kiddos.
