I hoped there was more study material in this book. There is some, half of the book is practice tests. The tests will be helpful however not what I hoped the book would be.

This book is okay if you already have been studying for awhile. It gives decent supplemental information. Otherwise it does not cover foundational information in a way that is conducive to studying for the PHR. The book is not needed to pass the PHR.

This is a good study guide. I like the short summaries of important concepts which makes it perfect as a review supplement. I feel confident taking the test in the next week.

This is thin and doesn't cover all the content. On the exam day, you'll see a lot of terms you never even seen on this book. This has only 100 practice questions while the actual exam has 115 questions. The practice questions multiple questions have 5 options (a-f) while the actual exam has 4 (a-d)

Well organized study guide. Easy to navigate. Recommend as one solid source of study material. Having taken the test before i have yet to find one source that is sufficient without supplemental material but this is definitely a good one.

This book is full of useful tips on studying and taking the test. The content is straight forward and provide examples throughout to help you grasp the concept. This book is well done and should be an addition to your preparation.

The Mometrix PHR guide is a wonderful resource to prepare for the exam. I would highly recommend.
