While it is not intended as a sailboat line, I use it for many general servicing missions on board including the winter cover stretching lines. It is strong, solid and yet soft enough to handle.

I needed rope for home sewn school bags. This rope was more than adequate. Sturdier than I needed for my project. I wanted at least 500 ft. Most ropes are not available in 1/4" and mostly 100 ft lengths. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I was wanting a Polyester rope but because the rope was made by "Quality Nylon Rope" and it was only called "Synthetic Rope". It came in and sure enough, it was Polyester. It is exactly 1/4 inch diameter and is very strong and seems to be durable. I have yet to measure the length of the rope but it came on the black spool shown in the picture and I'll bet it is 500 feet (plus or minus a couple feet). The rope is smooth and looks to be made of very good materials.

Better value then the similar Less quality higher cost rope at Lowe’s..... will be buying again

I am using this for making a hammock, and I don’t think this will ever break.
