Worth the money.
I will tell you it works. The key is choosing the sound pattern and noise level the fish want throughout the day. Nothing different than finding what bait is working too. Everytime I employed the Hydrowave you can see fish on the fish finder come around the boat. Since the purchase, my boat has not got skunked even with the water temp at 89 to 90 degrees.

The person that designed the Hydrowave H2 did not have a clue about clean boat wiring.
The person that designed this should have put the connection on the back of the unit for a cleaner way to wire it instead of sticking out the side .

BUYER BEWARE!
VERY CHEAPLY MADE. I was quite surprised at the quality of construction of the unit & the wiring harness. I had to wire tie the power/speaker combination plug to the mounting bracket to keep contact with the speaker. If the speaker becomes inoperative while underwater because of the sub standard connection; the unit appears it is producing sounds even if it is not. Very disappointed with the unit as of now. I bought this for my bass boat & my flats boat, however I would not even think about mounting something like this on my flats boat. Does it work? I have used it twice & I can not say that the unit was working while deployed underwater or not. Now that I have, at least temporally solved the connection issue, time will tell. From past bass fishing experience I can assure that the correct sound will get their attention which may cause the fish to see the bait & create an impulse strike. It is just a shame that this unit is so cheaply made. I would not recommend buying this unit. If this system is proven to work, an electronics company will build a well made unit that is reliable at a much better price in the very near future.
