Excellent tool for accurately checking & adjusting ignition timing
Great value timing light that allows the user to accurately check ignition settings using the adjustable strobe setting. Allows the user to adjust timing on classic distributor systems on spark ignition engines.Recommended!

It does the job for that old car
Little light and looks and feels like a duck hunt zapper gun. Will be using on a quarterly basis to just check the timing of my car. Ideal too if you’ve fitted there electric magnetic points. You can also dial in the degrees for mechanical advance.

Solid and works well
The media could not be loaded. First time using one of these, but it worked great! Easy to follow instructions. The dial on the back allowed me to set timing advance while just using the TDC mark

Cheap tacky product which failed after 5mins use
I used this for 5mins and it stopped working. But already this felt like a cheaply made tacky product. I've returned for refund and its an annoying wasted of time have something just not even achieve the job its intended for.

Solid and UK made.
I have needed a decent strobe timing light for a while, but cannot justify the expense of specialist tools. Accuspark have been a name I’ve heard of for years and so in trying to sort an issue with the V8 and Megasquirt I just needed one. Plenty of weird named timing lights out there for less money, almost went with the basic Draper one.The gun is solidly made and the instructions tell you to check the connections if you get no spark. I like the honesty and basic fault finding written in English. You need to have a good spark at the plug otherwise this type won’t work and initially I thought I had a problem with the timing light. New plugs and the timing light worked, giving me the info I needed. I just now need to understand what to do about it! GEMS type Rover V8 with Megasquirt 2 ExtraEFI. My missing tooth seems to be at 20 degrees ATDC rather than usual timing being before TDC. Ho hum, one day I’ll sort it. Engine now runs beautifully smooth but I know the advance timing is still a bit wrong…
